You, on the other hand, must choose the best product based on your needs, operations and requirements.
Connect Explore Connect Explore is a Facebook Ads targeting software tool designed by Wilco de Kreij. Wilco is a renowned and experienced online marketer and has a number of successful plugins for WordPress to his credit such as ConnectRetarget, ConnectAudience, and ConnectLeads. In other to understand one of the unique feature of Connect Explore, you need to understand how software connects and interacts with each other. Software applications communicate with each other through what is called an application programming interface (API). This is a set of program blocks, codes, protocols and routines that specifies the nature, type and degree of access applications have with each other. Any given software, such as Facebook, has different APIs for different purposes. Two of such Facebook APIs is the General Access API and the Ads API. The former allows general access to Facebook but the latter grants access to Facebook members’ interests. Most Facebook Ads marketing tools have access to the General API. But only Connect Explore, having passed various tests and conditions given by Facebook, has access to the Ads API. With such authorized access, only Connect Explore can access the interests of Facebook members and use that information to better focus your adverts based on their interests. Apart from this outstanding unique feature, Connect Explore has the following additional features: • • • •
Eliminates guess-work split testing by targeting the right kind of members through every interest. Provides you with detailed and wide range of performance statistics for all and each of your interests. Find hidden interests of Facebook members more effectively and faster that are unknown to your competitors or other Facebook ads’ tools. With its advanced filtering feature, Connect Explore offers you multiple level of interests allowing you to create a variety of related target interests.

Results from your search or campaign can, with a single click, be automatically copied into the Facebook Ads manager. Allows you to enter keywords related to your product and then generates results based on viable, qualified keywords. Results can be saved as projects that you can later return to. You can get full life access to Connect Explore for a single one-time payment of $197 with a 30 day trial period. Full payment also grants you access to ConnectSuite (comprising of ConnectRetarget, ConnectAudience and ConnectLeads WordPress plugins) for a 30-day trial. Clients not interested in the ConnectSuite may cancel their subscription for the suite within the 30-day trial period without being charge. Otherwise, you are charged a monthly subscription of $97 per month for the suite.
Qwaya Let’s now discuss about Qwaya. Its interface requires users to be conversant and experienced in Facebook Ads. As discussed above, it does not have access to Facebook Ads API and therefore is limited in the access it has to Facebook members and particularly their interests. Among its features are: •
•
•
•
•
• • •
• •
Audience and Ads Split (A/B) testing: This allows users to split their audience based on certain criteria (such as age, location or income) or Ads (such as varying combinations of images, content, video, etc.). However, you should note that your daily Facebook ads budget will be applied to each of your split test and not shared across them. Hierarchal Campaign and Ads Structure: Qwaya maintains a hierarchical structure for your ads campaign by allowing users to create different Ads sets and different Ads under each set. Thus you can, for example, have an Ad set for professionals, another for school leavers, etc. and then have different ads (i.e. different content, videos, images, etc.) under each set. Ads Scheduling and Rotation: Because users can have a number of different Ads under each Ads set, you can set a schedule as to when each ad is to be run. You can also rotate ads in a set based on your own criteria and not on Facebook’s selection method. Ads rules: Users can also set rules for running a campaign or not. For example, when the cost per campaign exceeds a certain dollar amount or when the number of clicks is below a set level over a period of time. Assign URL Automatically: Qwaya automatically creates and assigns URL each time you publish an ad. The URL allows your ad to be tracked and it can be assigned using Google Analytics standards or a custom url of your choice. Google Analytics integration: Once added to Qwaya, you can see engagement details for each campaign set, ad set or ad. Team Access: Corporate organizations or agencies will find this feature interesting as it allows team members to work together on an ad, an ad set or campaign. Centralized Platform for all Facebook accounts: This allows you to connect all your accounts into a centralized platform so as to view and compare various apps, pages, events and ad accounts for one location. Reporting and Exporting data to Excel: Qwaya gives you some basic graphical reporting and report data can be exported to Microsoft Excel in xlsx or csv formats. Pricing: Qwaya offers you three packages: 1) Premium at $149 per month with only 1 user access; 2) Business at $249 per month with 5 users’ access, and 3) Agency at 349 per month with
10 users’ access. All packages allows unlimited ads and unlimited Facebook users and a 14Üday trial period.
The bottom line is that you want the most effective tool at an affordable price. I hope the above will guide you in making such as informed choice as to which of the two tools reviewed best meet that criteria.
