The large project is located near the centre of Phnom Penh City, surrounded by established development areas. Situated directly in front of the Council of Minister and Prime Minister’s office, it is also bordered by the city’s two main thoroughfare namely Russian Boulevard and Monivong Boulevard. The neighbouring areas are also fully developed for both commercial and residential purposes, offering immediate access to the population of Phnom Penh. Access to the city Centre can be made via any of the 7 road connections which link the project site directly with the city’s east-west axis and north–south main road. Residence 90 forms part of the above mentioned large project, selected as a pilot project package. The total land area is 2.73 ha. The terrain is relatively flat, thus quite favourable for planning and building. The site is bordered on two sides by two regional streets, offering the residens two entrances, one mainly for cars and the other for walking only

Riga City Link - Litva PROJECT TYPE DATE LOCATION PHASE

Residentail 2016.05 Riga - Litva Concept Design

Inspired by baltic amber stones City Link Riga will form with its three oval shaped buildings a dynamic but solid Mixed Use building along the axis of Pētersalas and Bruņinieku Street. Each “Amber stone” will comprise a different function and expresses itself in a different building shell. A. Opposite the New City Hanza Development the warm shining ambered colored hotel will open up towards Vecriga and the Daugava river with stunning views towards the New City Development and the old city port. A foiltec covered courtyard will allow activities during cold winter days. B. Forming the second “Amber stone” along the axis of Pētersalas and Bruņinieku Street. this Mixed use Residential and Office block will orient its apartments towards the more quiet eastern side and its office area towards the more dynamic internal space. The facade takes its inspiration from the traditional wooden houses of Riga. C. Finally the third amber stone with its traditional brick facade remembers the industrial charm of its former use. As the function of this building is more introverted (Medical Center) will use a more subtle way of openings.

Vw Logistics Center - De PROJECT TYPE DATE LOCATION PHASE

Industry 2016.05 Braunschweig - Germany Concept Design Visualization

The main building, with an area of approximately 50,000 m2, was built to bring together the 13 previously existing storage facilities of Volkswagen’s Braunschweig works. The centre also features 1,500 m2 of offices and personnel/recreation rooms for company employees, and 33,500 m2 of paved open areas, roads and parking. The logistics halls are divided, in accordance with the designed fire compartmentalisation, into four heated halls and four unheated halls (which are also completely enclosed for noise protection purposes). In the unheated halls, there is inventory turnover of approximately 25 truckloads per hour and a 360-metre goods train per day.

Urban Planning - Industry 2016.06 Ba Ria - Vung Tau Concept Design Visualization

Ba Ria – Vung Tau is located in a principal economic zone in South Vietnam. The province has developed a deep-water sea port system along the coast overlooking East Sea. It is also situated at the crossroads of international marine routes from East to West and from North to South of the world, which account for over 85% of world trade transportation. Vung Tau city is the final stop of National Road no. 51 and the terminal of Asia Highway (AH1), joining Vietnam with other ASEAN countries via Moc Bai border gate.

With such huge advantages, the province leaders have

determined that marine economy should play a significant role. Apart from oil-and-gas industry and other supplementary services, Ba Ria – Vung Tau is one of the most important hubs of the country in terms of energy, heavy industry and tourism. The local high-capacity sea port system has been busy in the past five years, especially in

The main idea for the master plan is to put the small-size buildings in a scattered layout, and then to organise them into a gridline structure as a miniature of a city. With a mixture of built areas and green open spaces for people to walk, the design team paid special attention to the needs of users, psychologically speaking, and would like to create a sense of a city where there is no social segregation, but justice and clear minds.

Urban planning and design solution. The new building of the city archives centre should lay a cornerstone for the development of this city area as a whole complex towards sustainability. The building is set back from the street, however with an impressive built form, it can attract the attention of curious people passing by and invite them to visit a public space on the second floor through a public square in the front. The visitors can also see a spectacular gallery in form of a staircase. Here they have a nice view on the old quarter and the low-lying parts of the city. It is essential to notice that no connections with the neighbouring built areas are expected. Those adjacent residential buildings just help to emphasise and harmonise the building with the city archives centre in terms of cityscape, by keeping the features as modelling examples. The land plot is customarily accessible. The external elements of the building - on the one hand - show the idea of archiving work with heavy and thick bookshelf-form components, and try - on the other hand - to remind of the old turf tables in this region as seen in the facade structure. This modern and open staircase gallery is inspired by the historical archives steps, leading the visitors to the second floor. The open place in the front is lightly raised and it utilised once again the landscape elements which take the form of a ground trench in order to show the idea of old turf tables.
