"On a Leash" is a performance that continues the line of comprehension of Ukraine's Soviet past and its cultural heritage. The action took place directly at the "stele of glory" - a monumental memorial complex dedicated to the Second World War. I spent one daylight day inside the shadow of the "stele of glory", being and moving strictly within the contour of the shadow cast from the monument on the ground.
The shadow moved radially, along the radius of the obelisk, like a sundial. My task was to get used to or somehow inhabit this space, which in the recent past was an active symbolic place, and which was not conceived as a public space for the convenience of people.

A locally crafted perfume Serpentine by Commes des Garcons. An original smell was created in conjunction with the opening of the second gallery of Serpentine Galleries. To reproduce an original smell perfumer was combining the components from the marketing description.
On the video the rite of symbolic sanctification, parfumer was spattering the extract in the half-art spaces: in the spaces where white-cube coexist with a cafe, shop, cinema, etc. Video piece was projected on the canvas made of blotters, smelling with the aroma that was created.

The textile work is made in the form of an abstract, formal look of the old imperial coat of arms of Belovodsk with an overlay on the upper third. If you lift this pocket-patch, you can see the double-headed eagle - a symbol of Tsarist Russia, as well as the history of the city of Belovodsk in the Donbass.
After the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the historical and cultural heritage of the USSR and the Russian Empire as its predecessor is stigmatized in Ukrainian society. In this work, I wanted to capture the contradictory and duality of the situation.

Kulinichi Museum
The installation 'Kulinichi Museum' connects alternative history and the Kharkiv company 'Kulinichi' , which deals with bakery products. Many Kulinichi' kiosks are scattered across Kharkiv. This project uses a kind of averaged "museum" form, and tells about a hypothetical future, in which some extraterrestrial beings arrive on the earth after the extinction of humanity as a species.
Kulinichi Museum is an exhibition that reconstructs human culture, which is based on the assumption that the 'Kulinichi' play a central role in people's lives, performing a cult function.
