WORDS FROM MCP Hey Dear applicant,
I am not going tell you how much responsibility is needed in order to be an MCP, what can you get out of this experience, how awesome it is to be an MCP. I will tell you something else instead. I have been a part of AIESEC in Kazakhstan for the last 5 years and I am still trying to make this organization work and function in a proper way. I am completely sure that Kazakhstan and its youth need the experience that we provide. The thing is that after almost 10 years, that AIESEC in Kazakhstan exists as an entity, we are still on the development stage – still at the bottom of our own potential. I know, that we can do so much more and in a more responsible and sustainable way. Make a growth and legacy in a way that it will last. Yes, our members, sometimes, have not the best mindset to be a proper leadership developing organization. Our financial state is not the best as well. I can list down several more things that don’t let our entity to be one of the best. But there is one thing that truly exists in us – potential. More than 100 000 new students every year and our annual reach, less than 0,01% - this gives me food for thought. For the reasons stated above, I am now opening the application for a person, who fully and sincerely believes that the amount of what we do is far from even a good state. A person who is ready to spread our impact all over the country and not just in main cities. A person, who will transform AIESEC in Kazakhstan to AIESEC for Kazakhstan. A person, who will make Kazakhstan better by building a better AIESEC. AIESECly yours, Leo Kim Member Committee President 2016-2017, AIESEC in Kazakhstan
