As I consider the tools that constitute effectiveness in the life of a believer, no one characteristic resonates more than the capacity to refine one's focus to one single thing at a time, until all is perfected. I have counseled many believers who don't understand that it takes parts to equal a whole. Our capacity to manage each part of a thing well, helps us to sense progressiveness like nothing else.

Dr. Mark T. Jones, Sr.– Apostle

It is my observation, that the most effective of Satanic strategies, is to simply divide the thoughts of a believer by introducing ideals that are not consistent with the ''main things,'' that the believer should be focused upon. KEEP THE MAIN THING, THE MAIN THING, AND DON'T SWEAT THE DETAILS!

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! Matthew 6:22, 23

What Are You Focused On? There Are So Many Things That Can Cause Us As Christians to Have Blurred Vision. Any one that wears corrective lens or glasses would find this to be true. I recently went for my yearly eye exam and of course you go through a series of test to look at the different functions of your eyes. As I was there my doctor asked me how my sight was and so on. As she removed my glasses to check the prescription in them, it was just to tell me that the glasses were no good. My response to her was "how is that? I can see good in them." But actually that was only in comparison to not wearing them. Once I got my new prescription I realized the difference. Funny how even spiritually we experience the same thing. We think that we are fine in comparison to another person we know, only to realize that once the word of God test us and brings correction to us we must make the proper adjustments to make sure that we are putting the things of our life in clear prospective. Some of us are spiritually wearing outdated prescriptions or even yet walking around squinting just to see clearly. This is funny too because if you wear glasses you know the frustration of not having them and needing them. So, we even will try to borrow someone else's glasses just to get by, but actually that is all we are doing GETTING BY. That is not what God ever intended for us. Even with looking through some else's glasses we still may not be able to see what is intended for us. The only eye chart we should be tying to focus on is the one God SAID- God doesn't want us frustrated by the fine print for our life He has given us. Here are some remedies for the eyes: For Spiritual Blindness - If you've never accepted Christ and you are going through this world blind to the things of God, open your eyes by giving your life over to Christ. A whole new world will open up for you. (2 Corinthians 4: 3,4) For Overly Dry Eyes - If you find you have no feelings for anything or for others around you, look through Christ's eyes of compassion and show your Christian love and you'll start to see the people in a new way. (1 Peter 4:8,9) Watery Eyes - If you find yourself constantly down, depressed and in tears, learn to be content. You'll be amazed at your outlook on life when you become content. (Philippians 4:11) Cloudy Vision - If you've gotten where you can't tell right from wrong, focus on the study of the Word of God more. It will set boundaries for you and give you a clearer vision and help you with your decision making. (Psalm 119:105) Distorted Vision - If life looks a little distorted to you and things aren't going like you think they should, pray more. It will bring things back into perspective and allow you to view life in a different way. (Philippians 4:6,7) Objects In Your Eyes - If you find that you easily judge and criticize others? Work on yourself first and get your own life in order. (Matthew 7:1-5) Near Sighted - Living life only in the here and now? Start focusing on eternity and realize what's really important. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18) I can admit that I have been out of focus because of some of these areas. I had to get an accurate prescription from God to get me back into focus. We need to realize how out of focus things can really get when we don't get help for our eyes in a timely manner. So, are you out of focus?

The Poet’s Corner Spiritual Recession Spiritual Recession begins when the Holy Word is not taken at it's spiritual value.

Sis. Jennifer Cole

When our hearts and minds Around the things of the world enwinds We then let go of our greatest entity Leaving us to fall into adversity Lacking in fasting and prayer Leads us to unrighteous behavior Un-forgiveness towards our fellow men Becomes one of our latest trend When we pray we forget a word for others We carry much load on our shoulders Never to release the tension We alter our stand for salvation The door is now open To exit the word which was spoken By not releasing our faith In sinful waters we bathe Drowning in our confusion We swallow the intended poison Now we slowly die For the sake of a Spiritual Recession So why take that RECESS--ION Which will Instantly Overpower and cause you to Neglect the things of the Spirit. There is no time to take recess from the word and works we have to be diligent and stay the course.

Sis. Lisa NegronMayaguez, Puerto Rico

This is a very tasty kind of Caribbean Soup. You may add some hot ingredient, and should be served immediately. Serve with white rice and fried green plantains (Tostones) In a large pot heat the olive oil, add garlic, onions, green peppers, cilantro and cook until the onions are transparent. Add the cooking wine and stir until the wine evaporates. Add the whole tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and oregano to taste. Stir for about two to three minutes. Add all meat except the chicken. You want to add the chicken at the end to avoid the chicken to separate from the bones. Stir on high two to three minutes until the meat is sealed. Add the chicken broth and the same amount of water. Also add the corn on the cob. Cover and cook on medium high for about 45 minutes. Stir occasionally checking the meat for tenderness. Add the chicken and continue cooking until chicken is cooked. Reduce the heat to low and add all vegetables. Cover and cook on low heat until vegetables are soft. Serve with white rice

Puerto Rican Food History Puerto Ricans, like everyone, love to eat and in so doing have perfected the art of Caribbean cuisine into its own cocina criolla. This special Caribbean cookery has a fairly traceable family tree and it is safe to say that it was initiated by the early Indian inhabitants of the island. For almost 500 years the basic ingredients the Arawaks used have been enriched by the culinary skills of newcomers from Europe such as the Spaniards or the African slaves brought to toil in the sugar fields. The time-honored ingredients are still at the bottom of almost every dish but the different and delicate blends and innovations of five centuries have developed a genuine cuisine. The seasoning is perhaps the most noticeable difference in Puerto Rican cookery. You must think of pepper, lime rind, cinnamon, cloves, fresh ginger, garlic and the juice of the sour orange. Some favorite herbs are cilantro (coriander), and orégano. The real secret of the cocina criolla, however, lies in the use of sofrito, and achiote lard. One of the contributions to the Caribbean diet are the plátanos or plantains which may be eaten green or ripe and can be fried. The leaves of the plantain plant are used to wrap up foods to be boiled or baked such as the delicious pastels. Soups are a popular beginning for meals in Puerto Rico or a full meal by themselves such as the sopón de pollo con arróz (chicken soup with rice), sopón de pescado (fish soup) or sopón de garbanzos con patas de cerdo (chick peas soup with pig's feet). Not really a soup, one of the most traditional of dishes is the asopao,a hearty gumbo made with fish or chicken. The roasted pig is a favorite for Christmas. The abundant tropical fruits are used to prepare delicious juices or nectars to freshen up the tropical heat-a favorite is pineapple juice from some of the most sweetest pineapples in the world...Coconut, papaya, lime and tamarind are among other delicacies worth trying. Mangoes from the western part of the island are among the sweetest of fruits. Puerto Rican desserts include the pudding or custard flan and the tembleque. Papaya cubes cooked in sugar and cinnamon must be accompanied by white cheese (queso blanco). Arróz con dulce is made of cooked rice and coconut cream, sugar and cinnamon. Puerto Ricans are heavy coffee drinkers and Puerto Rican coffee is among the best in the world. Islanders like their coffee real strong, some drink it black, others as café-con-leche.

Temple Maintenance Ministry Emerson L. Tillman, B.S. Natural Health

Eating Healthy For Your Hair Doctors and hairstylists will tell you that healthy hair starts with a healthy body. Ever notice that sick people also have dry, dull hair? That's because when your body isn't healthy and receiving proper nutrients, your hair will inevitably suffer. Most people are surprised to discover that the things we ingest are just as vital to healthy, shiny hair as the shampoos, conditioners, and finishes we use. Where hair is concerned, the most important food sources are water, proteins, and fatty acids, but oxygen, zinc and Vitamin A are also essential. Hair is made mostly of protein, which serves as a building block. Many experts suggest that women who eat protein-rich foods like meat, fish, poultry, milk, eggs, cheese, yogurt, and sunflower seeds, have healthier hair. It's also a good idea to include Zinc in your diet because it helps build hair protein and prevent hair loss. Meat and seafood contain high quantities of zinc. For moist, supple hair, drink plenty of water. Water makes up one-fourth of the weight of a strand of hair. Water also flushes toxins and residue out of the body, and keeps them from settling in your hair. Women who drink alcohol should keep in mind that it dehydrates your body as well as your hair. Consuming fatty acids may not sound appealing, but without them, you'll notice increasing dryness and breakage. Eating foods like tuna, trout, salmon, nuts, olives, and avocados will give your hair strength and luster. If you feel like your natural hair color is drab, and want to give it a boost naturally, try copper. The mineral copper is involved in the pigmentation of hair and can be found in shellfish, liver, fresh vegetables, nuts, seeds and meat. Healthy hair also needs oxygen. Although you can't get oxygen from food, eating iron-rich foods like lentils, beans, peas, and dark greens will help carry oxygen to the hair and its follicles. Other sources of iron include red meat, liver, and dried fruit. A couple of other important items include Vitamin A and silica. Vitamin A promotes a healthy scalp and can be obtained by eating broccoli, milk, carrots, spinach, and sweet potatoes. For strong hair get plenty of the mineral silica, which is found in rice, onion, strawberry, cabbage, sunflower seeds, and green, leafy vegetables. Remember, bad eating habits show up in your hair. Make a habit of eating a well-balanced diet for healthy hair and scalp. If you are unable to consume the necessary nutrients from the foods you eat daily don’t worry. Supplement wherever you need to with the following products!!!

Living Life in Anointed Keys

Stephen and Demetria Howard Praise the Lord to all of the “called out” people whom God has positioned in a place of fullness! That’s what He has accomplished in our lives. We are the Howards. Stephen, “Steve” and Demetria “Dee”. We fellowshipped with CFM in July 2006 and we’re definitely in “the now”. We were blessed to have encountered Apostle Jones during a back to school revival at our previous church in August 2005. After the service, I told my husband, “That is what our spirit is hungry and thirsty after.” So when my husband gave me the “go ahead” to write the letter of resignation to our former pastor, all we had to do was sign the letter! We are both delighted to be a part of the Praise and Worship Team which is a conduit to our upcoming ministry ‘WEAPON THROUGH MUSIC, INC.’ My husband is a gifted DJ with an ear designed for music. This ministry is birthed to bring life to the word that is paraphrased, “anointed music drives away evil spirits.” We perform parties, weddings, and provide services to anyone who needs a PA system. Being here at CFM has enriched our lives just to see the word in productivity and in full ACTION! Our marriage has taking on new levels that’s totally UNBELIEVABLE! We are the blessed parents of 8 children (5 girls 3 boys combined). Steve works as a Security Officer and Dee as a Registered Nurse. The Lord put us together in March 2004 and it definitely was THE LORD that connected us! Dee is writing an autobiography that is possibly entitled “NO THANG TO HARD FOR GOD!” Faithfulness is a fruit that Jesus gave the both of us. We travel from Pinellas County (Clearwater) to support this ministry. Briefly testifying, God has brought Dee through many tribulations including being pregnant at 12 years old and many abusive relationships. She had 6 children from 3 different fathers by 23 years of age, yet she enrolled in LPN nursing school. Through all she endured, she never stopped trusting that God would bring her through. In addition, Steve endured 14 years in an abusive marriage (mostly physical and verbal) which ended with his previous wife permanently leaving him, the house they owned, and their 2 daughters age 11 and 13 years. So as it was purposely designed by God, our perseverance as parents combined, birthed a powerful relationship as man and woman, truly in the likeness of Jesus. We are also doubly blessed grandparents of 1 beautiful granddaughter, Zariah Kaigler, 16 month. Our favorite walking word is “and let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not (Galatians 6:9)” God bless.

The Partnership for Kingdom Advancement in Africa (PKAA) was initiated by Dr. Mark T. Jones in October 2006. PKAA is committed to reaching out to those who live in the villages of Africa and offering them more than anything money could buy. The purpose is two-fold: "get them an education and allow them to return to their villages to build the kingdom of God. The primary focus of the partnership is church building and the acquisitioning of scholarships to send students to Bible college for 2 years. Also, Dr. Jones would like to increase the salaries of the pastors (in Africa) to take care of their families while furthering the mission of God.

Pastor Calvin Green ministered a powerful word from Matt.14:13 -21 “Positioned For A Miracle One of the key points to this message as it relates to our missions to other countries is found in verse 15, where Jesus had to re-locate Himself to a remote place, a desert place in order to expand his territory. God wants us to be positioned with compassion. When you know that God has called you, you automatically moved towards the needs of others.""""

The Voice of Manifestation

Our vision is to teach the end-times church of the essence of kingdom life, and to communicate deep, spiritual truths in a simplified manner. The Center For Manifestation 3102 East Lake Avenue Tampa, FL 33610

Phone: 813-241-6919 Email: leolatillman@hotmail.com or Eglais@msn.com

The Center for Manifestation was released from the heart of God to be a refreshing force to the body of Christ. While the central theme and essence of this ministry is to prepare the way for the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, in part this purpose is accomplished by retraining the saints as to what their God given roles and responsibilities in the church are. It is also the vision of this ministry to bring healing and deliverance to those who have been hindered from moving into position for the latter rains.

This is the season for the manifestation of the sons of God!
