From the Chairman Having an insatiable curiosity, I had a really interesting conversation on Twitter recently. Where has the School Council's online shop gone? Some of you may be aware from the notice on our main website, that we have been experiencing difficulties with the domain name for our online shop. Anyone with www.schoolcouncilshop.org stored in their favourites, or who uses it enough to type it in from memory, will have seen that this site has been showing an "Account Suspended" notice. This has simply been due to problems with the ".org" bit of the site. It has still all been available at ".info".
However, we are pleased to be able to let you know that normal service has now been resumed!
www.schoolcouncilshop.org is now back where it should be and ready for your orders! All our round badges are currently on offer at 65p each until the end of April, so hurry up and grab a bargain! Thank you for your patience whilst we dealt with this problem.
Re-introducing Mi-Voice: Secure Voting and Surveys We are excited to announce the re-introduction of the fantastic on-line Voting and Surveys system, Mi-Voice. This was offered in the past by the previous management, but we have liaised with Mi-Voice to offer a better, more cost-effective package for you. "We used the Mi-Voice (Mi-Vote) system for our UK Youth Parliament elections this year. I found it to be a very good, safe and efficient system for enabling young people to vote, which was perfectly suited to our needs. We will be using Mi-Voice again!"
