Have your say for Global Handwashing Day Global Handwashing Day is celebrated every year on October 15th, to raise awareness of the importance of handwashing with soap for the prevention of childhood infections. This year, children around the world are being asked to voice their opinions and report on their school’s toilets and handwashing facilities. The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine would like as many children as possible in the UK to have their say and contribute to this important research. Children of all ages can help by completing the 100 Schools Survey, which is available online and takes under 10 minutes to complete. There is also the chance to enter a prize draw to win an iPod Nano or a Nintendo DSi.
