From the Chairman We're able to do our own report on our first year since picking up the School Councils reins. Huge amounts remain to be done (Rome wasn't built in a day) but the headline number is that we have grown by 40% in a year. That gives me the confidence to believe that, WITH YOUR HELP, we have arrested the decline in the former School Councils and turned it back into a growing, prospering organisation. What do YOU want from us? As we move forward with the continued development of School Councils UK, we are very keen to know your views and thoughts on our direction. We believe we are doing what needs to be done in order for Pupil Democracy and Student Voice to become an essential part of every school. Our remit includes general well-being and citizenship to support teachers and schools in guiding our young people towards becoming modern-day World Citizens.
