The goal for this graduate course assignment had the primary purpose of teaching us skills towards self-improvement and working with others, professionally and personally. Not only was I able to learn how to work better within a group of my peers, but I learned skills that I can use towards my own personal self-growth such as meditations, breathing practices and lessons on mindfulness towards my mental and physical health.

For this specifical assignment, we were tasked with the creating our own mission statements. They can relate to our professional graduate school environment, but they also can dive within our personal lives.

I decided to create a visual graphic along with my mission statement towards myself. Not only was I able to take pride in myself and find joy in the greatest parts of myself, but I was able to design a visual that can also be descriptive of my own personal journey as a designer, and as a human being.
