Design service

Would you like to put a cool print in the colors of your house style? Determine the right cut for your design? Or leave the entire formatting of your design files to us? Our designers will be happy to help you with the development of your design. If necessary, we will provide a visualization of your design in the space, so that you can already get an idea of the final result.

Samples

Are you completely satisfied with your digital design? Then we advise you to work with a test sample first, so you can see how the colors and sharpness of the design is showing up on the chosen material. Between approval of the digital file and delivery of the sample there is 5-10 working days, depending on the type of request. After the reception of the sample, we will contact you right away to check for correctness and design. Upon approval of the sample, we will then proceed to produce your unique design. The supplied files are checked one last time and after your approval they are put through to the involved production department.

Production

Depending on the number of colors in the design, we opt for a full-color or vector (chromojet) production. For this, we exclusively use eco-solvent ink. Since we make the design digitally fit exactly to the dimensions you have specified, there is no additional material need for pattern repeat.

This way, we avoid unnecessary waste and the cutting loss is kept to a minimum.

Upholstery

Once production is complete, we deliver your unique printed interior materials to the address

you provided. Do you need help upholstering, confectioning, and installing? Prints van Oranje does not have its own confection workshop and upholsterers employed, but we can put you in contact with experienced specialists from our network.

Spurd Leeghwater-

bad

The modern Spurd-Leeghwaterbad in Purmerend is home to four pools. With a size of 114 by 44 meters and a height of 11 meters it’s a unique swimming pool which in terms of surface area belongs to the top 10 of the Netherlands. A large-scale renovation, with a lot of dedicated towards energy efficiency and a better indoor climate, has transformed the swimming facility into a true experience for swimming enthusiasts.

8

Attractive entrance

The Leeghwaterbad disposes of a spacious entrance hall with an appearance which appeals to the imagination. The fluid lines in the design combined with lots of green create a natural atmosphere and puts visitors at ease right away. Big eyecatcher upon entrance is the panoramic wall of 15 meters to the sports pool, also known as ‘the aquarium’. Visitors are being welcomed at the centrally located round reception desk. The catering section is also located at the entrance hall where you can sit before or after swimming.

Unique swimming pool experience with print vinyl

The floor in the entrance hall plays an important part in the total experience and strengthens the unique swimming pool feeling. From the moment you enter, lifelike prints of grass, decking boards and water take you into a special swimming pool experience. Remarkable are the two big ripples of a falling water droplet being playfully integrated into the flooring

design. One of them is positioned around the reception and serves as an additional marker of the desk. The custom-made floor design has been executed on printing vinyl suitable for commercial use. A perfect flooring solution for a demanding environment. Due to the wear

resistant, pressure resistant and dirt-repellent properties, the vinyl flooring is highly resistant to heavy traffic. The dirtresistant top layer increases the ease of cleaning and in that way contributes to the maintaining of good hygiene and a permanently fresh appearance.

TSFC Breda

Lunch, a reception or dinner at The Streetfood Club Breda is a true happening for your senses. Whomever enters the ‘Theatre of Flavour’, finds themselves in a trendy, colorful jungle. The unique location, the extravagant interior and the tastiest street food dishes from the Latin-American and Asian kitchen take you into a facinating total experience.

Unique location

The Streetfood Club Breda is the big sister of The Streetfood Club in Utrecht. The trendy hotspot is located in the former Grand Theatre of Breda. With the renovation the unique elements of this monumental building have been preserved, making the grandeur of this special location come into its own even more. The former stage and balcony have been transformed into small clusters over several floors where it’s pleasant to sit. The organically shaped balconies remind of Gaudí’s style. One of the eye catchers is the balcony with a gigantic air balloon, of which the basket serves as a cocktail bar.

10

Mix of colors, textures, and designs

The interior of The Streetfood Club Breda is a happy mix of colors, textures, and patterns. There is an idea behind every element of the interior. From the expressive wall-paintings and luxury furniture fabrics with colorful prints to the stained-glass and the jungle of plants. The various custom-made designs of Sippien Baarsma on our printing carpet each contribute in their own unique way to the colorful jungle theme.

Outstanding are the three different realizations of the design with the green leopard print, being in the shape of a stair runner, rug, and the covering of the front desk. The same print returns at the cocktail bar, but now in red. The printing carpet with the creative, colorful pattern around the seats on the balconies are delighting to have lunch, drinks or dine on as well.

Cinema Dok6

A visit to DOK6 Cinema in Panningen guarantees relaxing and enjoying the best movies. During a thorough renovation, the interior of the three cinema halls at the luxury service cinema was completely renewed. The spaces were provided with new, comfortable seats, tables, and a brandnew atmospheric cinema carpet with a unique tailor-made pattern.

12

A relaxed cinema experience

Watching a movie at DOK6 Cinema is a lovely relaxing experience. The comfortable seats in the cinema are equipped with tableaus and service buttons. During the movie you can press them to order food or beverages. Your order will be taken by an employee at your seat and brought to you. Besides the standard comfortable seats, the service cinema also has special VIP seats. These chairs have an adjustable backrest and seat, giving you the possibility to enjoy the movie sprawled.

Unique and wearresistant cinema carpet

The relaxing cinema experience at DOK6 is enhanced by the comfortable and warm printing carpet with unique pattern. The special design of

Beumers Ateliers printed to size, contributes to a special experience. As a joke, images of banknotes and DOK6 gift cards have been printed onto the carpet. Thanks to the crystal-clear print it looks like the notes and cards are laying there for grabs. The carpet suitable for commercial use is executed in a cut pile with

a velvet look and feel. Specifically for the use in a cinema there has been chosen for a somewhat shorter pile. This makes the carpet less vulnerable to the extensive traffic and sliding of shoes compared to a high pile. This way, ugly wear marks are prevented, and the carpet stays beautiful for a longer period of time.

Het Zalmhuis

A party for your senses. With a special menu, distinctive entertainment, and a titillating interior the Zalmhuis (The Salmon House) offers its guests a unique total experience of an exclusive night out. The monumental premise, located at the riverbank of the Nieuwe Maas near Rotterdam, is since 2020 owned by Hell’s Kitchen Horeca Groep. The interior went through a big metamorphosis after the acquisition by owner Herman Hell and was in high tempo transformed into a real hotspot and trendy hangout next to the water.

Against the current

Against the current, you achieve something special. That is the motto of the Zalmhuis. Literally against the current of the Maas, out of the city, you reach the striking building in which the Zalmhuis is located. And you get rewarded for doing so, with an interior that makes you truly feel like being in a different world. Metropolitan, intensely decorated with a lot of color, warm fabrics and materials, but yet accessible for everyone. A place to immerse and treat yourself for the day or evening.

14

Exclusive interior concept

The interior concept is inspired by catering businesses from the upper segments in cities like London, Manchester and Barcelona. Liselore Holman, interior designer and owner of interior and design agency ECLECT: “I was fascinated by how especially in Manchester establishments are decorated and managed: very detailed, classic elements translated in a phenomenal way to modern times and a high level of service.

All inspiration I got from there and other cities throughout the years I used in the Zalmhuis.” The result is a bold and exuberant interior with a mix of different styles, outspoken contrasts and a personal character.

Sensual carpet

Liselore chose custom-made print carpet (broadloom, rugs, and a runner) executed in Missoni style. The design features prints of various marble textures which in terms of colors and patterns blend in beautifully with the whole.

Paleis Het Loo

After a large-scale renovation and years of construction, Paleis Het Loo is open to visitors again. The palace has been sustainably renovated, the interiors are restored, and the quarters have been newly decorated. For the palace route, which the public can follow on their own, we provided unique carpet runners with lifelike prints of the historical floors of the past.

Loo

Palace routes with audio stories

The palace and its inhabitants of the past are being brought back to life with palace routes and fascinating audio stories. Palace route east takes you into the story of Willem and Mary, the first inhabitant of Paleis Het Loo in the seventeenth century. Palace route west shows you how the later generations of the Oranges lived in the palace. The chambers on the routes have been decorated exactly as they were in the past. To have visitors fully experience this historical atmosphere, as much as possible museum-like elements have been left out.

Carpet runners with prints of original floors

To enhance the authentic palace experience even further, ‘invisible’ carpet runners have been developed that can hardly be distinguished from the original palace floors. The printed runners are an accurate photographical image of the original

floor underneath them. Kossmanndejong, responsible for the concept and exhibition design: “We photographed the floors and printed the exact pattern directly onto the runners. The route markings and listening stops for the audio tour are also marked on the runners. This way we protect the historical flooring of the museum, the space is being optically enlarged and

the visitor can completely submerge into the room.” The choice for the executions of the runners was made for the acoustic and sustainable carpet quality Velours Special. This carpet corresponds perfectly to the posed requirements and wishes with around 30% sound absorption and amongst others a Blue Angel certification.

The meeting center is created on behalf of property developer Whitewood, who had the entrance renovated with a complete makeover. Hercules is more than just a meeting center. A coffee bar with lunch facilities annex reception, with various seats and corners for discussion around it, creates the feeling of a true hotel lobby.

Art deco with a contemporary twist

For the spatial design and signing architecture firm Normaalkracht was brought in. The design can be described as art deco with a contemporary twist. A lot of attention has been paid to the lighting and color, making the space feel warm, luxurious, and retro.

Custom-made designs on wallpaper and window foil

The naming of the conference halls is based on zodiac signs. This returns in a recognizable manner on the seamless and

scratch-resistant vinyl wallcovering with custom made design. Furthermore, a stylish window foil has been applied on the glass walls, guaranteeing privacy on the one hand and on the other hand maintaining an open and transparent nature. The same geometrical design can be found on the wallcove-

ring on the round wall at the coffee bar. Finally, in the central alcove in the hallway adorns the name Hercules, integrated into a background with again a unique stucco-like texture in warm, luxurious shades. Altogether a stylish way to let walls speak.

Library Kampen

Taalpunt Kampen is an approachable place for people wanting to improve their level of Dutch. The service point is located at the library Kampen. To mark the new location of the Taalpunt within the library, a custom-made sheer curtain with a beautiful color gradient has been chosen. An ideal application to maintain the connection with the whole without detracting from the beautiful space and that at the same time offers a sense of privacy.

26

Homely with a touch of privacy

Library Kampen wants to be an inviting meeting space for all and functions as the living room of residents of the municipality. The library is located in the Stadskazerne, a former barracks complex and imposing historic building. The wish for the new space of the Taalpunt was for it to be part of the library, but at the same time offer some privacy for its users.

Custom-made net curtains with color gradient

To achieve this, the choice was made for custom-made net curtains in a color gradient based on the house style of the library, which also comes back into the furniture. The transparency of the curtain provides connection with the library but also creates privacy. Along the beautiful old stone arches this gives a warm and

atmospheric effect. The voile curtain consists of two parts, making it possible for the room to be open, half open or completely surrounded. The net curtain is made of translucent curtain fabric, full color printed and executed in a stylish wave pleat.

Hoogheemraa

The water board Hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland is working daily for dry feet and clean water, and with it a futureproof and sustainable living environment. The heritage of Rijnland goes back 800 years. The water authority wanted this heritage to be more prominent in its facility in Leiden. That’s why they had made custom-made furniture fabric for various kinds of furniture and cushions by Saskia de Zee from LUREaLURE using a print of an old map from 1612. This way, the history and identity of the organization is visible and tangible everywhere you go.

Old map as a source of inspiration

The Hoogheemraadschap has an impressive number of maps digitally available to everyone. The request was to make this heritage more visible in the decoration of the building. As inspiration the most famous map of the water board has been chosen: the map of the territory from 1612. This map has been transformed into a crystal-clear print on furniture fabric. A whopping 100 stools, 20 cushions, 15 rolls, 3 tablecloths and a sofa in the central hall have been decorated with it.

30

dschap

A beautiful application of custom prints which demonstrates, besides carrying out the heritage, how to create cohesion in a convenient manner and connect different elements in the interior with each other.

Suitable for commercial use and sustainable furniture fabric

Since the Hoogheemraadschap has a high commitment to sustainability, the preference was a durable fabric being tested for its durability. The choice was made for a sustainable furniture fabric that feels like soft velvet fabric but has a flatter structure compared to real velvet. It is suitable for commercial use; the furniture fabric is for example fire-retardant, 100% waterproof and water-repellent, colorfast and wear resistant. This makes the fabric ideal for intensive use in a commercial environment.

Clan de Banlieue

Banlieue is a Dutch lifestyle brand founded in 2014. It all started as a school project, where one of the owners designed a T-shirt and started selling it on Instagram. The streetwear label stands for style, diversity, and innovation. The quality clothing is an ode to the banlieues and symbolizes a sense of connection to diverse cultures and backgrounds.

32

The shirt quickly became popular, and requests poured in from all over the country. Banlieue’s style is raw and authentic. The brand wants to inspire and create a world in which dreams come true on the street through shared culture, teamwork, and entrepreneurship.

Print fabric and carpet with luxurious touch

The very first flagship store of Banlieue is located in Rotterdam. Meanwhile, the brand has also opened a second branch in Amsterdam. For the design of the new store, the owners turned to interior designer Lotte Faassen of Lotte Faassen x Studio de Blieck. She was given carte blanche for the entire design. The result is an innovative concept in the luxury retail sector: urban with a golden edge. The flagship store covers an area of around four hundred square meters spread across two floors.

From the front desk, clothing racks and dressing rooms to the lighting and the overall branding, every detail has been thought out. Even the print carpet on the stairs and the print fabric on the poufs fit seamlessly into the young urban style with a luxurious touch.

Lotte: “The idea behind the de-

sign of the carpet and the furniture fabric was to create recognizability. To be recognizable in the store for the customers, I have incorporated the logo of Clan de Banlieue in a busy print. This had to be done in a luxurious way, therefore I chose dark colors combined with brass.”

TEN Good Food

TEN Good Food Café is the social hang-out of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. A trendy, yet accessible living room you can visit all day. The temporary (5 year) interior design reflects a playful urban meeting space with colorful elements. In this artistic approachable vibe design classics are combined with unique custom-made designs and products. Reuse of existing elements is alternated with a fresh new design.

Artful furniture fabric

The upholstery of the sofas is a big wink to the period of modern art movement ‘De Stijl’ (Style) and titled ‘Off the Road’. A title in which everyone can have his or her imagination run wild with regard to where the road is going to. The print is a pattern design of Sandra Keja Planken – Studio Noun, who has also developed the total design of the interior.

Hand-painted carpet prints

All rugs, also designed by Sandra and used in this project, are custom made prints of hand-paintings. The rugs are designed with rough paint brushes, like you are walking on top of a painting.

34

Café

For all rugs, made in unique amorphous shapes, primary colors have been used as a starting point. This has resulted in colorful islands and cozy corners in which the public can retreat, from museum visitor to urban lounger.

Sandra: “The vivid corners are a mix of styles and products from our collection, Dutch designers, and vintage classics. Every corner has a different look and is made to inspire and make you feel alive.”
