THREE EASY STEPS TO THE PERFECT FIT
Here’s how you can find the perfect fit with the ASC concept for every athlete quickly and easily:

ANALYZE There are five different analysis devices to choose from that determine the foot type, length, width and other data concerning athletes' feet. From the three-dimensional representation of both feet using the BD 3D Scanner VANDRA and the fully equipped BD Scan Station through to the quick and easy-to-use Feet View, we offer the following devices for foot type analysis: BD 3D Scanner VANDRA, BD Scan Station, BD Podoscope, BD Feet View, BD Measuring Gauge Brannock (length and width measurement).

SELECT Once the foot type has been determined, it is easy to find the right insole and suitable Power Fit Socks and foam liners. Choose the product that is going to meet the athletes’ requirements for their sport or activity, whether it’s skiing, snowboarding, hiking or running, and so on. Once the specific BD products have been selected, they can then be customized to the individual customer.

CUSTOMIZE Regardless of whether they’re Step-In, 3-Arch or 3D, all BD insoles are thermally adaptable and can be fitted precisely to the foot of an athlete through heating. THE FAST SOLUTION
You can cover all sports with four models with three different constructions for the various foot types. Follow the simple foot type analysis steps and select an insole of the four models in LOW, MID or HIGH Arch. Insert the insole into footwear and you’re finished! Individual fitting can be offered as an extra service that ensures customers get a fit that is 100 % perfect. The wide range of insoles guarantees the right insole for every foot type.
LOW ARCH The arch is incapable of cushioning, thus reducing the spring in the wearer’s step or running motion. Displacement of the bones involved (e.g., buckling of the ankle bone, heel bone) can cause strain on tendons and ligaments. This leads to static imbalance. The BD LOW Arch footbed helps to prevent overpronation.
MID ARCH The layout of the bones, tendons and ligaments reflects the theoretical norm. The pressure below the foot is distributed over the 3 main support points: heel (20 %), big toe base joint (17 %), small toe base joint (13 %). A BD MID Arch footbed offers optimum pressure distribution for this type of foot, while stabilizing and cushioning at the same time.
HIGH ARCH The long-arch is too high, thus reducing the contact surface. High medial and lateral arches are typically caused by shortening of the tendon structure or high muscle tension. These changes of the foot shape cause friction and pressure points when wearing shoes. A stressed tendon structure is often found throughout the body in this case. A BD HIGH Arch footbed ensures comfortable, even pressure distribution for this foot type.

1 Material is pushed back to the rear part of the pillows to form a wedge. Next, air is pulled out to create a vacuum.
2 The customer should sit in a 90-90-90 position with the legs hip-width apart and put the feet on the vacuum pillow. Then, enough air to enable one of the feet to be copied needs to be let into the cushion. TIP: The foot should have no pressure on it at all, so that it can be positioned and copied correctly.
3 The heel should be pressed into the vacuum pillow while in a neutral position, and the area from the midfoot to the toes should then be carefully embedded in the pillow. Pull out more air to create a vacuum.
4 Smooth out the pillow in front of and around the toes, so that an insole can be placed in the best possible position in the forefoot and toe area.
5 ° Preheat the BD 3D Heater to 120 C and put the insoles in for the specified time (see model). Close the lid and activate the timer.
6 Position the heated insoles in the vacuum pillow so that the heel cap closes flush with the heel.
7 Ask the customer to stand on the insoles and put all their body weight on them for five minutes. Ensure the customer is standing with the feet hip-width apart when doing this. ATTENTION: Allow the insoles to cool down for a further five minutes so that they harden completely. Once the 3D insoles have cooled completely, you can take them and finish them (by sanding, cutting and/or milling them).

THE MADE-TO-MEASURE SKI BOOT – MADE FROM WATER The AquaNovoBoot from longstanding BOOTDOC partner "Zeisler Sport" represents a completely new method of producing a totally individual, foam-lined ski boot with a shaped shell and insole made to measure. BOOTDOC adds to the process by supplying a jointly developed foam liner plus special 3D insoles. This ski boot is the brainchild of ex-professional skier Albrecht Zeisler. 3D SCANNING IN A NEW DIMENSION The new BD Scanner Vandra, developed in cooperation with the Swedish technology start up Volumental, sets new standards in 3D visualization of feet.
THE TECHNOLOGY Thanks to the latest technology of 4 depth compensation cameras both feet are measured and 3D rendered within a few seconds. The visualized 3D picture is of highest precision and can be looked at from various angles. THE ANALYSIS Just step on the 3D Scanner without any other device. No changing of socks or special equipment is required. This guarantees high comfort and no hygiene hassle during the analysis process. THE DATA The result of the analysis is a vast number of
information and measurements around the foot. Not only length and width but also arch type, instep height, volume recommendation and other useful information is available for an impressive consumer service. The data is anonymously stored in an online cloud and is being used for further developments around the footwear and insole business. THE SIMPLICITY It´s amazing how simple it is to use the Vandra 3D Scanner. The plug & play version includes an intuitive portable touchscreen tablet that is easy to use. The analysis process is done within a few seconds and can be discussed with the customer using the tablet for visuals.

The new Vandra 3D foot scanner delivers a three-dimensional image of both feet in seconds.
