Travelling is one of the leisure and cultural activities most appreciated by young people. And in the way they travel, some of the most distinctive traits of this generation are shown.
A recent survey, travel around the world, found that young people travel primarily to learn, get away from routine and have fun.

The family are the best travelling companions for over half of young people. And there is one thing they are very clear about: they want to travel far, 90% cent recognise that their preference is for international travel.
Collaborative tourism companies are also a growing trend. 62% say they are familiar with this type of alternative. They mainly use them as shared accommodation (47%) and carsharing (23%). And they do so, above all, to save money (51%).
90% Youngpeoplepreferinternational travels.
The vast majority (85%) prefer to design their trips They do so mainly by using specialised websites and considering the recommendations of other travellers that they read on the internet Three out of four travellers stop using a service if it has negative reviews, and almost 90% of those surveyed say they publish content about their trips on social media.
Travelling alone for the first time as a backpacker can provide a great life experience; however, you must plan it in detail before you do it That doesn't mean you must structure your adventure as much as possible; you must leave room for improvisation. If you don't, the trip will force you to do so. Backpacking is one of the many ways and possibilities to get to know another country and enjoy its food and people; among its advantages is the independence you have when making decisions and moving around will be more comfortable. The more you travel, the less you carry!
1. SEARCH INFORMATION ONLINE
This is an essential tip for backpacking. Search for information in forums and blogs of travellers Guides like Lonely Planet are handy for consulting places of interest, recommended hostels, and maps of the cities. Then you can decide how long the trip will last, look at your budget and think about how much time you will spend in each place.
2. DRAFT YOUR ITINERARY
List the places you'd like to visit and consider how you'll get around. While planning a trip is good, remember that a place may fascinate you, and you may decide to stay longer. The unknown of the adventure is what's exciting. Walk around and try to get to know the local culture.
3 Accommodation
You'll need to consider and choose the location of your operations centre to make the excursions to the different tourist spots. It is also essential to make a road map to shorten distances and thus make the most of your time; time is our most precious commodity. When you travel alone we recommend staying in a hostel is a different way to meet people, as in the hostels there are shared rooms, where it is easier to engage in conversation with other travellers with similar concerns to yours, but quiet if you are more reserved with your space and need more privacy also have single rooms and in turn have many common areas where travellers from all over the world are constantly meeting.
4. MAKE SOME RESERVATIONS IF YOU FEEL IT IS NECESSARY.
Although many travellers book everything from the hotel to the museum tickets before arriving at the destination, it is only partially advisable because if you decide to change your plans, you will lose money due to cancellation fees. I think having your return flight booked or purchased is enough
5. LANGUAGE
I recommend you learn the introductory words of the country you want to visit but sign language is universal. I encourage you to try it; you'll be surprised how a few simple words and gestures will help you have a great conversation. However, you can always use Google Translate.
6 Luggage
Always remember to wear comfortable clothes on the plane or any other means of transport You can always doublecheck your luggage. If you change countries, always remember to take a copy of your physical or digital passport. On international trips, it is imperative to have all your documentation in order, with all the visas.
6. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF
Sadly many countries do not have good security conditions Don't be overconfident; ensure the hotel or hostel you're staying in has security systems or lockers with padlocks. Don't walk alone at night, don't drink too much, take in your surroundings and keep an eye out for people you meet along the way.
8. FOCUS ON TRAVELLING
Travelling alone is an experience that everyone should experience once in their life. It is a way of getting to know and surpassing oneself. It doesn't matter if you get away with your backpack for a few days or go on a more extended trip. All the trips you take will be a great source of emotional well-being. It will depend on how adventurous or less adventurous you are, your personality and your tastes, but neither going too far nor spending much money is necessary for this equation. The important thing is to travel.
