➊ An exceptional natural snow cover reinforced by more than 400 artificial snow making machines covering 50% of the ski area. ➋ Two summits (at 2700 m and 2850 m) benefit from artificial snow, from the top of the pistes right down into the centre of the resort (twice a 1000 m vertical height fall). ➌ Thanks to this technological skill, the production of artificial snow starts in November.

Satisfied or reimbursed THE CLAUSES Art 1 : You have booked your accommodation or "all inclusive" holiday through Les Menuires Réservation (reference “Snow Guarantee”), or through a participating accommodation provider (marked in this brochure by the logo “ Snow Guarantee ”). Art 2 : You leave the resort because you are not satisfied by the quality of the snow cover (less than 80% of the main slopes are open due to a lack of snow – bad weather, storms, heavy snow falls are excluded). You hand back your keys and your ski passes. You will be reimbursed on a pro rata basis for the unused days on the Les Menuires / Saint Martin ski passes and for the accommodation.

the fun Becca zone : The BK Park ! Accessible via the Becca chairlift, there are two boardercrosses for devilish races, as well as jump and rail zones in which to learn or improve ones Freestyle (circuit and boarder cross levels blue and red). Les Menuires, in partnership with the French Ski Federation, has set up a free video system on the zone 1 of the BK Park. Receive, free of charge, a video set to music of your freestyle prowess !

CROSS COUNTRy SKIING Everyone can discover the joys of

cross country skiing on the 28 km of marked-out pistes in the valley, from Les Menuires down to Saint Martin de Belleville. Access to the pistes is free. Lessons are organised every day by the French Ski School.

Thanks to the system of snow-compacted and marked-out footpaths, walkers can wind their way around the valley discovering all the riches that it has to offer. Several snowshoe itineraries are also marked-out on the snow covered slopes: the Mont de la Chambre itinerary which covers a remarkable 1000 metre vertical height fall, the Girauds footpath and Le Châtelard-Téton circuit. An itinerary links Les Menuires to Saint Martin from Le Roc des 3 Marches gondola or the Saint Martin gondola. Certain lifts are open to pedestrians or snowshoe walkers, giving access to the altitude paths and the panoramic views of the summits. Free walking map available from the Tourist Office.
