There’s always news from The Marketing Directors. This month, it’s a rental property in Park Slope and a condo on 124th St. in Harlem. The Arias Park Slope is the rental. Already 70% leased, the building by architect Ismael Leyva counts 40 people having moved in. Apartments start at $2,900 for onebedrooms and $4,200 for two-bedrooms, putting the neighborhood on a rental par with the East Village and some Williamsburg buildings. What’s surprising is that singles are flocking to this neighborhood, which had a corner on families looking for good schools and what might be the best retail in Brooklyn when it comes to mom-and-pop restaurants and shops. In Harlem, the Apex Condominiums is 40% sold. Southern views stretch all the way to midtown, with the Chrysler and Empire State Buildings clearly visible from higher floors. The condo portion of Aloft Hotel (the affordable line from Starwood Hotels), the building has a sleek lobby on W. 124th St., with the hotel portion accessible through a downstairs entry on Frederick Douglass Blvd. Homes range from studios for $340,000 to penthouse units for more than $1 million.
