Resumen: La revista Sagitario circuló en México entre julio de 1926 y mayo de 1927, en un ambiente marcado por las tensiones entre distintos grupos que disputaban las direcciones que debía seguir la cultura mexicana. Sin embargo, la revista mostró un carácter plural y abierto bajo la premisa de que, para crear una cultura mexicana moderna, eran necesarios la discusión y la difusión, la reflexión y la educación en torno al arte, la literatura y el pensamiento de actualidad. Abstract: Sagitario magazine was published between July 1926 and May 1927, in a context signed by tensions between the groups that used to dispute the directions that Mexican culture needed to follow. However, the magazine showed a plural and opened character under the premise that, for the creation of a modern Mexican culture, were necessary the discussion and promotion, the reflection and education around t of art, literature and thought of the actuality.
