Presented by Herb Brooks Foundation, MN Wild Foundation, and St. Paul Police Activities League Join us in July for free hockey and skating clinics at Highland Arena! » Learn to Skate: Beginning skaters will learn the skills necessary for a foundation of learning to skate. Upon completion of this class, the skaters will want to try “Learn to Play hockey.” Enrollment is limited to the first 30 skaters to register. (Recommended ages 5-8 years old). » Learn to Play Hockey: Hockey players will review skating skills and learn the basics of shooting, stick handling, and passing. Enrollment is limited to the first 50 skaters to register. (Recommended for skaters just getting into hockey ages 8-12 years old). » Power Skating: Hockey players will learn specific skating techniques to become stronger skaters utilizing their edges. Almost all pro and collegiate teams conduct power skating sessions. This is your chance to learn the skills and drills to become a better skater. SCSU HUSKIES SKATING, SKILLS, & SMALL GAMES CAMP 2017 MONDAY-THURSDAY, JULY 24-27 CAMP INFORMATION & ACTIVITIES

•Open to all youth hockey (girls/boys) who competed in mites to bantams during the 2016-2017 season. •Emphasis on the fundamentals of hockey, including skating fundamentals and individual puck skills. •(2) hour and half ice sessions per day, plus off ice hockey training time. •Competitive small games plus a final game Thursday evening. •Other supervised recreational activities including rock climbing.
