A powerful action that any young person can make is by simply saying no. 15 years ago-- I said no, it’s possible to start a charity.

2019 marked our 15th year. And with 45,000+ volunteers and youth involved in our programmes, we’re too busy saying yes these days. We are so proud of our 100% volunteer-run team.

2019 was about Personal Growth. We learned about ourselves and the foundation needed to be successful. We realized we had been isolated. We weren’t networking effectively. We changed that -- hosting key global sessions, actively playing a role at Pride and advocating for youth-HIV issues locally.

Simply put -- We have grown into a global organization. We invested in strategic consultants, programme development experts, brand marketers and IT experts to shape LetsStopAIDS for the next 15 years.

When we listen to others and realize that we each need to just be open, that’s when we begin to realize that “impossible” global and local issues become almost effortless. This edition highlights our success with a limited budget. I am a firm believer that this passion can carry over to any team that invests its energy internally.

Finally, we call ourselves a charity because we are a global organization that focuses on meaningful relationships that truly act in the spirit of working with each other.

When you read this report, remember all the smiling faces -- these are the faces of LetsStopAIDS. Just imagine what else is possible if you invest in youth to end HIV.

Love,

Shamin | Founder
