We all know how expensive new kitchens can be. And in times where you either have so many other projects you need doing, or so many holidays you want to enjoy, a quick DIY fix is often enough.

Often, a kitchen mostly looks dated or worn, and much rather there's nothing you would really change about the layout or general working of your kitchen.

You really just want a instagrammable kitchen.

So, what if I told you that with a little lick of paint, you can transform your kitchen into that instagram kitchen you've longed for. Here's how you can paint your own kitchen cupboards this spring.

1 - Remove, Clean & Empty

Get your cupboards ready by removing handles and knobs, removing all contents and clean too. Use antibacterial sprays and a damn cloth inside and out your cupboards. Having a clean surface will help your paint stick to the surface.

2 - Prep sufficiently

Now its clean and dry, lay down plenty of sheets, and mask areas like hinges and glass panes. Sand your surface too, and fill in any imperfections and holes.

3 - Prime

Some cupboards will need a little priming, but be sure to get the right one for your surface. Use a small roller for a professional, streak free finish.

4 - Paint

Now's the time to paint with your chosen colour. We recommend 2 coats for a deep finish. Lightly sand the surface after the first coat to have a super smooth, professional look.

5 - Finish

When the second coat is completely dry, remove your masking tape and put your handles back on! You now have brand new cupboards!
