This year we took young people for a trip, our drop-in centre temporarily changed into airport. Young people taking part in the event received the boarding passes, they went through the security check with Ismael and Naseer (both ESC participants), then check-in area with Emma, finally they reached departures. On every step of
the journey, our friendly staff was explaining why there is security check, what you can bring with you, what is not allowed. We delivered the airport experience to young people, a lot of fun over Time to Move card game, and professional information on the mobility opportunities available to them across Europe.

French visit!
In June we were hosting two French students, Sihem Atamnia and Wytney Hamel, who were working on their international project. They spent whole day in our centre, talking with users and workers, taking pictures of the place, and trying to capture the unique atmosphere of the drop-in in the pictures. We were delighted to work with our partner from France- Mjc Region Elbeuf once again. As a result of the cooperation, Sihem and Wytney’s took part in the special art exhibiton in their city. Congratulations to both girls and all people involved in this project!

We are happy to inform that 2 Irish volunteers went abroad for their mobility activity under the European Solidarity Corps programme. Naseer spent 2 months in Leszno, Poland with Centrum Kreatywnosci Tworczej where he was helping out with Summer camps dedicated to young people. He was involved in preparation and delivery of the activities, also met a lot of new friends, learnt a lot of Polish words and grew up!

Kelly has changed rainy Ireland to warm and sunny Madeira where she is volunteering with the Academica de Madeira as a tour guide. It is worth mentioning all ESC volunteers travel for free, they do not have to worry about the accommodation and bill, plus they are receiving pocket money every month!
We are not jealous at all! Sunny Madeira.
