Presentation Be familiarised with different approaches to Media Literacy in education in the Western world. 15min 15-20 participants Papers and pens in case some of the participants want to keep notes. A flipchart and markers for the facilitators. The facilitators present 4 different approaches to media literacy in education. After that they explain the key aspects of each one and compare them while also explaining how they complement each other in specific scenarios. Lastly they invite the participants to raise questions and share their own ideas. Which of the presented models do you believe is most suitable for today's needs? Do you have a different approach to suggest? Digital competence: Knowledge on media literacy and the ways it can be communicated more effectively.
