GUIDANCE An increasingly diverse professional world, coupled with constantly redesigned job outlines requiring ever-changing skills and career paths, means that students, as well as graduates, encounter a variety of possibilities in making their professional choice. Our understanding of career is that it combines the personal assessment of one’s individual situation with the success of one’s own life journey as a whole. Our individual guidance sessions aim at assisting your career development by furthering your resources. We will give impetus and open up options.

You also have the opportunity to register in the applicant database with your short profile and your resume, which will make it more likely that your anonymous profile will be discovered by interested employers.
FOR YOUR CAREER, the job-seekers fair On the job fair FOR YOUR CAREER, high-value employers recruiting for various sizes and industries are present. In a casual tour of the Auditorium Foyer, you can view the stands of the individual job-entering opportunities offered by the employer you wish to work for; you can impress them there and then in a first personal meeting and clarify important questions regarding the application process. The offers for students and alumni are manifold: Seek advice from the exhibitors about the offers for an internship, thesis, part-time job, traineeship or starting your career in their company. The FOR YOUR CAREER job-seekers fair takes place annually in May.
Recruiting Dinner The Careers Service at Leuphana have launched a Recruiting Dinner, an event which will allow you to expand your professional network. While enjoying a high-quality 3-course meal in a relaxed atmosphere, you will become acquainted with attractive company recruiters and discuss career opportunities. After each course, table partners are changed. Every year, the field of activity is on the menu, for which attending potential employers offer job or internship placements. The recruiting dinner is held annually in November.
