WATER
Hydro-Shield is a nano treatment done during the yarn spinning process to infuse the yarn before it is woven with a highly water resistant finish which does not affect the overall breathability of the finished fabric.
WIND
UPF stands for “ultraviolet protection factor”. Our UPF 35+/50+ rating means that no more than 1/35th or 1/50th of the sun’s UVA and UVB rays pass through the fabric.

4. MEMBRANE PROTECTION A diamond shaped grid is screened to the underside of the waterproof breathable eXhaust membrane. This synthetic dot matrix protects the membrane from abrasion and wear and tear with other clothing layers. Being thinner than 3-ply Tricot, this film is the best choice to increase the toughness of our lightweight paddling gear.
