All terms and conditions pertaining to the booking of a vacation package are detailed in the price catalogue. ACCOMMODATION CATEGORIES
LES HIRONDELLES rates accommodation facilities and the services offered there at any given time according its own very strict rating criteria, which often result in a category classification different from that of the Greek National Tourism Organisation (EOT), whether this classification is based on the star-rating system or a key-rating system. For the purpose of achieving a uniform, easily understood category classification, we take the following into account during the rating process: facilities, furnishings and the quality of services provided. You can get a simple picture by noting the number of SWALLOWS that correspond to our rating. LES HIRONDELLES is exclusively responsible for this rating. 1 swallow: Simple, decent accommodation for our guests that are not too demanding with regard to the facilities and the furniture of their accommodation during their stay. 2 swallows: Simple accommodation with the necessary facilities. 3 swallows: Average accommodation in a very good condition with equipment in very good standards in a chosen area at a pleasant environment. PAYMENT OF VACATION PACKAGE – PAYMENT TERMS A deposit amounting to 30% of the total amount is required upon booking 4+ swallows: High standards accommodation with very good facilities confirmation. CANCELLATION FEES / Cancellation by travellers before trips In the event of cancellation of a vacation package booking, which includes plane tickets, accommodation, as agreed, and transport, the following cancellation terms apply: Cancellations up to 50 days before the date of arrival: €30.00 per booking; Cancellations between 49 and 40 days before the date of arrival: 25% of the total price of the vacation package; Cancellations between 39 and 30 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the total price of the vacation package; Cancellations between 29 and 21 days before the date of arrival: 35% of the total price of the vacation package; Cancellations between 20 and 7 days before the date of arrival: 60% of the total price of the vacation package; Cancellations up to 6 days before the date of arrival: 80% of the total price of the vacation package. In the event of failure to appear: 90% of the total price of the vacation package. (Customers shall be at liberty to request the invoice regarding the cancellation fees or lower costs).

Type B two room apartment that has a bedroom and a living room with a open plan kitchen fully equipped , WC/shower or a living room that can be converted to a bedroom with two sofa beds, kitchen corner fully equipped , WC and shower. In both case the rooms are connected. These apartments have capacity usually of 2-4 people.
Type C Is characterized the two room apartment that has two separate bedrooms and kitchen fully equipped , WC / shower. No living room. These apartments have capacity of 4-5 people.
Type D Three room apartment, comprising two bedrooms and living room that can be converted to a bedroom with two sofa beds, a full equipped kitchen corner, WC / shower or bathtub. These apartments have capacity of 4-6 people.

Must Know information Type E It consists of four rooms, three bedroom and living room that can be converted to a bedroom with two sofa beds, a full equipped kitchen corner, WC/ shower or bath tub. These apartments have capacity of 6-8 people. House Type or VILLA Residence with an exclusive income through rent. In this type the whole house is rented to the visitors and is used exclusively by them. The distinction between a house and a villa depend on the size, the equipment and services. TRADITIONAL MANSION -HOUSE Houses that have been restores and decorated in Pelion style. Please keep in mind that part of the above types isn't clear blueprint of the traditional buildings. CAR HIRE: We have made special arrangements with reputable car hire companies on each area. The rates are valid for bookings 2 weeks in advance and DO NOT include 19% VAT . Once again we are able to offer you a choice of car hire, depending on whether you prefer to pick up your car either at Volos- Anchialos, Athens or Thessaloniki airports, or in any place in Pelion upon reconfirmation from our office and extra charge for the delivery/collection. Cars can be pre-booked for any period of 3 days and above, but bookings for one or two days can also be confirmed with a different price than these are noted above. Our colleague will be waiting for you for delivering/ collecting of the car at the airport/port carrying a sign with your name on it, the name that your reservation is confirmed from our office CAR SERVICE INCLUDES: Unlimited mileage (except 1 day rental), Collision damage waiver (CDW), Airport service charge, personal accident third party insurance, fire and theft protection, 24 hours road, delivery and collection at stations where car rental company has its branch offices and in all airports referred above. CDW does not cover the first 500,00 € of each accident for groups A, B, C and for group D,E 700,00 € .Please note that these prices do not include petrol and where necessary , a delivery charge and full damage waiver. EXTRA CHARGES For each delivery /collection depending on the place/airport of delivery/collection, Roof racks and child seats, Theft or any other insurance (excluding third party insurance). For all vehicles picked up from “El. Venizelos” Athens Airport there is 7% charge which is payable locally. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR CAR YOU will be charged according to the schedule in the Booking Conditions. GENERAL REMARKS It is the client's responsibility to make sure that his or her documentation is in order, and to ensure that the age of all drivers is above the minimum required. If the client is unable to drive the car due to lack of the correct documentation, no refunds will be given. DRIVER’S OBLIGATIONS The minimum driving age limit is 22.Drivers must have held a full driving license for more than 2 years. While using the vehicle, clients will be subject to the provisions of the Greek Driving Code, and any traffic fines or other expenses incurred during the rental period are the client's responsibility.
CARS ARE RESERVED by the group and not by the model, as the availability of individual models cannot be guaranteed. In the event that the car hire company is unable to supply the car group which has been confirmed, an alternative car of similar or superior standard will be supplied at no extra cost. If cars are returned without full tunks, clients will be asked from the car hire company to pay the appropriate rates will apply. Child seats are available on request for a small charge payable locally and sometimes without any charge. Please note that any complaints about faults should be taken up locally with the car hire company. If the client wishes to ferry the car to or from an island, advance notification must be given, and written authorization received. Note that an extra premium may be payable to provide insurance cover for the ferry trip(s). Rental is due from the client for such time as the car is being repaired. Although cars are insured to carry a certain number of people, this does not necessarily mean that they will do so in comfort. Note that the carrying of more people than the car is insured for, invalidates the insurance. LOCAL TAX RATES AND CDW rates can change. If changes do occur which increase the price, clients will be informed. CLIENTS PRE-BOOKING CARS will be asked to leave a credit card, as guarantee of the rental car, at the time the hire contract is signed. The credit card will be returned when the car is brought back to the office, or collected, as appropriate, and the car is found to be in the same condition as at the time the rental began.
