Car Cleaning Tips 1. Rinse the car thoroughly to remove any loose dirt or grime from the surface.
2. Pour a sachet of Supagard Acid Rain Neutralising Shampoo into a bucket of warm water and squeeze the yellow sponge in the water to create the foam effect. 3. Working from the roof down, wash the car using the sponge in a circular movement to help agitate and remove the surface dirt. 4. Change the sponge for the bottom half of the car as this tends to gather most dirt and grime – rinse the sponge regularly to stop dirt being carried back onto the surface. 5. Rinse over the entire car with clean water – spend as much time as possible to help remove any excess shampoo, especially in the guttering areas and handles. 6. Clean the alloy wheels by first washing them to remove surface grime and then spraying on Supagard Wheel Cleaner - agitate the wheel surface using a wheel brush or sponge.
7. Rinse over the car again, working on the regions around the wheels to remove any excess overspray from the cleaning solution. 8. Using a chamois, begin working from the roof down to remove excess water – rinse the chamois frequently to avoid water marks from dried in shampoo. 9. Dry the wheels thoroughly. Apply a coating of Supagard Wheel Protector and leave to dry. 10. When the car is completely dry, spray a coating of Supagard Tyre Shine onto the tyres and leave to dry. Tyre Shine can also be sprayed onto a sponge and applied to any other rubber areas such as trim on doors, etc. 11.Starting from the bonnet, apply a coating of Supagard Paintseal Cream by pouring a small amount onto the perfectionist applicator and drawing it up and down until the complete area is covered. Leave to dry to a haze. 12. Repeat this process for the whole car until all panels have been coated and leave to dry to a haze. 13. Starting back at the original panel, remove the dried on cream using a microfibre cloth – this allows complete removal of any excess cream. Buff the panel to a shine. 14. Repeat this process for the whole car until all panels have been cleaned and buffed to a shine, wiping off any excess chalk and fallout from the dried Paintseal Cream as you go along. 15. Apply some Supagard Glass Cleaner to the windows of your car and buff to a shine. 16. Step back and admire your handywork and congratulate yourself on a job well done – thanks to you and Supagard!
