“Up
on the Housetop”
Up on the housetop reindeer paws, out jumps good old Santa Claus
Down through the chimney with lots of toys
All for the little ones, Christmas joys
Ho, ho ho! Who wouldn’t go? Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?
Up on the housetop, click, click, click
Down through the chimney with old Saint Nick
First comes the stocking of little Nell
Oh, dear Santa fill it well
Give her a dolly that laughs and cries
One that can open and shut her eyes
Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go? Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?
Up on the housetop, click, click, click Down through the chimney with good Saint Nick
Look in the stocking of little Bill
Oh, just see what a glorious fill
Here’s a hammer and lots of tacks
Whistling ball and a whip that cracks
Ho, ho ho! Who wouldn’t go? Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn’t go?
Up on the housetop, click, click, click Down through the chimney with good Saint Nick
METRO-LYRICS
“Hark the Herald Angels Sing”
Hark! The herald angels sing "Glory to the new-born king
Peace on earth and mercy mild
God and sinners reconciled"
Joyful all ye nations rise
Join the triumph of the skies
With angelic host proclaim
"Christ is born in Bethlehem"
Hark! The herald angels sing "Glory to the new-born king"
Hail the heaven-born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Sun of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings
Risen with healing in His wings
Mild He lays His glory by
Born that man no more may die
Born to raise the sons of earth
Born to give them second birth
Hark! The herald angels sing "Glory to the new-born king"
Hark! The herald angels sing "Glory to the new-born king
Peace on earth and mercy mild
God and sinners reconciled"
Joyful all ye nations rise
Join the triumph of the skies
With angelic host proclaim "Christ is born in Bethlehem"
Hark! The herald angels sing "Glory to the new-born king" "Glory to the new-born king"

“The Twelve Days of Christmas”
On the first day of Christmas
my true love sent to me
A partridge in a pear tree
On the second day of Christmas my true love sent to me
Two turtle doves, and A partridge in a pear tree
On the third day of Christmas
my true love sent to me
Three french hens
Two turtle doves, and
A partridge in a pear tree
On the fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me
Four calling birds
Three french hens
Two turtle doves, and A partridge in a pear tree
On the fifth day of Christmas
my true love sent to me
Five golden rings
Four calling birds
Three french hens
Two turtle doves, and A partridge in a pear tree
On the sixth day of Christmas
my true love sent to me
Six geese a-laying
Five golden rings
Four calling birds
Three french hens
Two turtle doves, and A partridge in a pear tree
On the seventh day of Christ-
mas my true love sent to me
Seven swans a-swimming
Six geese a-laying
Five golden rings
Four calling birds
Three french hens
Two turtle doves, and A partridge in a pear tree
On the eighth day of Christmas my true love sent to me
Eight maids a-milking
Seven swans a-swimming
Six geese a-laying
Five golden rings
Four calling birds
Three french hens
Two turtle doves, and A partridge in a pear tree
On the ninth day of Christmas
my true love sent to me
Nine ladies dancing
Eight maids a-milking
Seven swans a-swimming
Six geese a-laying
Five golden rings
Four calling birds
Three french hens
Two turtle doves, and
A partridge in a pear tree
On the tenth day of Christmas
my true love sent to me
10 lords a-leaping
Nine ladies dancing
Eight maids a-milking
Seven swans a-swimming
Six geese a-laying
Five golden rings
Four calling birds
Three french hens
Two turtle doves, and A partridge in a pear tree
On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love sent to me
11 pipers piping
10 lords a-leaping
Nine ladies dancing
Eight maids a-milking
Seven swans a-swimming
Six geese a-laying
Five golden rings
Four calling birds
Three french hens
Two turtle doves, and A partridge in a pear tree
On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love sent to me
12 drummers drumming
11 pipers piping
10 lords a-leaping
Nine ladies dancing
Eight maids a-milking
Seven swans a-swimming
Six geese a-laying
Five golden rings
Four calling birds
Three french hens
Two turtle doves, and A partridge in a pear tree
METRO-LYRICS
“God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”
God rest ye merry gentlemen, let nothing you dismay, remember Christ our Savior was born on Christmas Day To save us all from Satan’s pow ’ r when we were gone astray.
O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy;
O tidings of comfort and joy.
From God our heav’nly Father a blessed angel came and unto certain shepherds brought tidings of the same; how that in Bethlehem was born the son of God by name.
O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy;
O tidings of comfort and joy.
“Fear not,” then said the angel, “Let nothing you affright; this day is born a Savior of a pure virgin bright, to free all those who trust in Him from Satan’s pow ’ r and might.”
O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy;
O tidings of comfort and joy.
Now to the Lord sing praises all you within this place, and with true love and brotherhood each other new embrace; this holy tide of Christmas all other doth deface.
O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy;
O tidings of comfort and joy.
“Here We Come A-Caroling”
Here we come a-caroling
Among the leaves so green
Here we come a-wand’ring
So fair to be seen
Love and joy come to you
And to you glad Christmas, too
And God bless you and send you a Happy New Year
And God send you a Happy New Year
We are not daily beggars
That beg from door to door
But we are neighbors’ children
Whom you have seen before
Love and joy come to you
And to you glad Christmas, too
And God bless you and send you a Happy New Year
And God send you a Happy New Year
Bring us out a table
And spread it with a cloth
Bring us out a moldy cheese
And some of your Christmas loaf
Love and joy come to you
And to you glad Christmas too
And God bless you and send you a Happy New Year
And God send you a Happy New Year
God bless the master of this house
Likewise the mistress, too
And all the little children
That round the table go
Love and joy come to you
And to you glad Christmas, too
And God bless you and send you a Happy New Year
And God send you a Happy New Year
Good master and good mistress
While you ’ re sitting by the fire
Pray think of us poor children
Who are wandering in the mire
Love and joy come to you
And to you glad Christmas, too
And God bless you and send you a Happy New Year
And God send you a Happy New Year

“Jingle Bells”
“O Little Town of Bethlehem”
O little town of Bethlehem
How still we see thee lie
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
The everlasting light
The hopes and fears of all the years Are met in thee tonight
For Christ is born of Mary And gathered all above
While mortals sleep, the angels keep
Their watch of wondering love
O morning stars together
Proclaim thy holy birth And praises sing to God the King And peace to men on earth
O little town of Bethlehem
How still we see thee lie
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
The everlasting light
The hopes and fears of all the years Are met in thee tonight

“The
Christmas Song”
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose. Yuletide carols being sung by a choir, and folks dressed up like Eskimos.
Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe
help to make the season bright. Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow will find it hard to sleep tonight.
They know that Santa’s on his way. He’s loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.
And every mother’s child is gonna spy to see if reindeer really know how to fly.
And so I’m offering this simple phrase to kids from one to ninety-two. Although it’s been said many times many ways: Merry Christmas to you!
“Winter Wonderland”
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening, In the lane, snow is glistening, A beautiful sight, we ’ re happy tonight, Walking in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the bluebird, Here to stay is a new bird, He sings a love song, as we go along, Walking in a winter wonderland.
(Chorus)
In the meadow we can build a snowman, Then pretend that he is Parson Brown, He’ll say: Are you married? We’ll say: No man,
But you can do the job while you ’ re in town.
(Chorus)
When it snows, ain’t it thrilling, Though your nose gets a chilling We’ll frolic and play, the Eskimo way, Walking in a winter wonderland.
Later on, we’ll conspire, As we dream by the fire, To face unafraid, the plans that we ’ ve made, Walking in a winter wonderland.
Walking in a winter wonderland, Walking in a winter wonderland.
METRO-LYRICS
“In The Bleak Midwinter”
“In the bleak mid-winter Frosty wind made moan, Earth stood hard as iron, Water like a stone; Snow had fallen, snow on snow, Snow on snow, In the bleak mid-winter Long ago.
Our God, Heaven cannot hold Him Nor earth sustain; Heaven and earth shall flee away When He comes to reign: In the bleak mid-winter A stable-place sufficed The Lord God Almighty, Jesus Christ.
Enough for Him, whom cherubim Worship night and day, A breastful of milk
And a mangerful of hay; Enough for Him, whom angels Fall down before,
The ox and ass and camel Which adore.
Angels and archangels May have gathered there, Cherubim and seraphim Thronged the air, But only His mother In her maiden bliss, Worshipped the Beloved With a kiss.
What can I give Him, Poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd I would bring a lamb, If I were a wise man I would do my part, Yet what I can I give Him, Give Him my heart.
METRO-LYRICS
“The Holly & The Ivy”
The holly and the ivy
When they are both full grown
Of all trees that are in the wood
The holly bears the crown
O, the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
Sweet singing in the choir
The holly bears a blossom
As white as lily flow'r
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ
To be our dear Saviour
O, the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
Sweet singing in the choir
The holly bears a berry
As red as any blood
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ
To do poor sinners good
O, the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
Sweet singing in the choir
The holly bears a prickle
As sharp as any thorn
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ
On Christmas Day in the morn
O, the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
Sweet singing in the choir
The holly bears a bark
As bitter as any gall
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ
For to redeem us all
O, the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
Sweet singing in
Sweet singing in
In the choir

Jolly old St. Nicholas, Lean your ear this way! Don’t you tell a single soul, What I’m going to say; Christmas Eve is coming soon; Now, you dear old man, Whisper what you’ll bring to me; Tell me if you can.
When the clock is striking twelve, When I'm fast asleep, Down the chimney, broad and black, With your pack you'll creep; All the stockings you will find Hanging in a row; Mine will be the shortest one, You'll be sure to know.
Johnny wants a pair of skates, Susy wants a dolly; Nellie wants a story book; She thinks dolls are folly; As for me, my little brain Isn’t very bright; Choose for me, old Santa Claus, What you think is right.
