2023 “SHOW US YOUR DEER” winner announced
Starting in 2021, The Sentinel changed the “Big Buck” contest and no longer required hunters to bring their deer to The Sentinel for a photo and measurements to be taken. As last year, all hunters were invited to submit photos of a deer they harvested and a random drawing would be done of all entries. This year, The Sentinel received 52 photo submissions for the deer contest.

The winner from this year’s drawing was Easton Bailor of Milroy (pictured here), as submitted by his mother, Jessica. Easton shot his doe with the same .308 rifle that his big brother, Bradley, used to shoot his buck. As the winner, he will receive a $150 gift certificate from Dan Pierce Outdoor Shop, 842 W. 4th Street, Lewistown. We appreciated everyone’s submitted photos and hope you enjoy seeing them in this edition as well as online at https://www.

Our list prices will never be as low as they are right now. Call before our Dec. 31 price increase!
With manufacturing, labor and material costs on the rise, we’re forced to implement a 2024 price increase…but not before we give you one last chance to pay our 2023 prices. Why is winter one of the best times to replace your windows?
• You’ll avoid the price increase on December 31!
• Our Winter Installation Method makes a cold weather installation painless. With one team inside and another outside, our installers work room-by-room to ensure your family and your home will be protected from the cold.
• Renewal by Andersen is the full-service replacement window division of Andersen, which is one of the reasons why 18,284 Central Pennsylvania homeowners chose our window over a low-end vinyl window.
