Welcome to the 2022 edition of The Sentinel’s community guide — our annual directory of the people and places that make up the Juniata Valley. For newcomers and longtime residents alike, the community guide aims to offer a comprehensive listing of government and officials and non-governmental agencies that serve the region. Our guide is updated each year with help from Mifflin-Juniata Regional Services Corp., United Way of Mifflin-Juniata and the Juniata River Valley Visitors Bureau, as well as county and municipal government officials. We welcome feedback from readers as to any other information you’d like to see in future editions of the guide. And, if you see something wrong, please email Lifestyles Editor Jeff Fishbein at jfishbein@lewistownsentinel.com or phone (717) 248-6741.
