LEXINGTON CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL
Choosing a high school is a huge step in every student’s educational career. We encourage students to explore the many opportunities at Lexington Catholic High School. 1. The first step in the admissions process is to schedule a tour of the school with our admissions team and set up a shadow day for the prospective student. On the shadow day, a current student will host the prospective student and guide them throughout their visit as they experience actual classes and meet students and teachers. Eighth-grade students enrolled at our partner schools will participate in a group visit day in the fall and are not required to do an additional shadow visit. 2. The next step is to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) and apply to Lexington Catholic. Once accepted, you may enroll online beginning in December. If you are a transfer student, instead of taking the HSPT, please submit your transcript and report card. Then, schedule a shadow visit and meeting with the Principal and Vice President of Admissions and Enrollment Services.

MIND High Marks Program
We strive to meet the diverse learning needs of typical learners, as well as those with learning differences through enriched and individualized academic support. All students utilizing the High Marks Program will be enrolled in typical graduation requirements.
Exemplar Scholars Programs
This program is designed to take our most talented students in Math, Science, and Technology, as well as the Fine Arts, and expose them to research and mentorship opportunities, artistic collaboration, and audience exposure. These programs include a highly selective admissions process, increased academic rigor, job-embedded mentorships, research opportunities, and a senior project.
Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Lexington Catholic has made a significant commitment to STEM over the last decade with the addition of the Exemplar Scholars Program for Math, Science and Technology, Project Lead The Way(PLTW), and rigorous science and math curriculum. PLTW is the leader in providing STEM curriculum to over 2.4 million K-12 students. The strength of Lexington Catholic’s STEM program is our outstanding math and science departments. In addition to College Preparatory, Honors and Advanced Placement courses in math and science, students have the opportunity to take PLTW Introduction to Engineering and Design and Dual Credit aerospace courses. Students who intend to pursue STEM majors in college are advised to complete as many science electives, as possible.
SPIRIT Lexington Catholic maintains faith-based Christian values with a full-time chaplain and Spiritual Life team. Students of many faiths attend Lexington Catholic; 24% of our students are non-Catholic. Activities include a yearly retreat program, community service component for all students, an academic integrity pledge, and elected Honor Council.
More than 85% of the student body participates in athletics or extracurricular activities. With a house system that encourages community across grade levels, school spirit and camaraderie is at a high-level year-round.
The Spiritual Life Center, located near the cafeteria, is where students go to sign up for service events, retreats, and liturgies; to seek guidance or confession; to pray for vocations with the V Crew; or to simply discuss a stressful day. The Center coordinates weekly Chapel activities (Mass, Adoration, and LIFT youth gathering), monthly all-school Masses, retreats for each grade level, a Reconciliation Service once a semester, and a vibrant community service program.
Lexington Catholic has a long history of championship athletics. With dedicated athletics staff and devoted coaches, countless LCHS students have continued their athletic careers at top colleges across the country.
