For over 70 years, athletics and extra-curricular activities have been an integral part of our mission to educate the mind, spirit and body of the young men and women who walk onto this campus. This community is proud of its student athletes for representing the ideals and mission of this institution. It gives me great pleasure to welcome each of you to this 2021-2022 Lexington Catholic Knights athletic season. For many years, our teams have not only found success on and off the field, but academically and spiritually as well. I thank you for your attendance and support of both the LCHS athletes and those of our visiting teams. I continue to pray for the well-being, health, and success of all our students, families, and the entire school community. Enjoy today’s game! Mathew P. George Principal

These are unprecedented times for schools across the country and we are pleased our student-athletes have been able to take the field and court. There was much to be proud of this season as we watched our Girls’ Soccer, Boys’ Golf, and both Cross Country teams compete at the state level. The commitment the student-athletes make to their teammates and to Lexington Catholic is wonderful and showcased in the way they have trained and competed. The coaching staff and student-athletes represent our school with integrity, sportsmanship, athletic success, and a winning tradition that is the standard for competitive excellence in Kentucky. Barry and I have enjoyed watching our teams compete both in-person and on PrepSpin. Thank you all for giving us a reason to cheer! I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers. Go Knights! Mrs. Sandra R. Young, President
