PROGRAMS | LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR
Libraries have been hosting reading programs since we were children. Summer reading programs help to make-up for a break in learning, as well as, reinforce and enrich the skills of young learners. Whether organized by schools or by public libraries, summer reading programs can be found in almost every town across the country. Join us as we celebrate a Universe of Stories at your local library branch. There are a variety of programs for all ages including adults. This summer we’ve made it even easier to find the information about our programs and resources. We’ve launched a new website that provides program information at a glance and easy to access booklists. Enter the summer with flair by recruiting your friends and family to check out a new program, audiobook, movie or more.
UPCOMING CLOSINGS All of the Lexington County Public Library branches will be closed the following dates: • Thursday, July 4 for Independence Day
