PURE 2014•2015 SEASON
EMOTION PURE EMOTION | 1
FEEL
EACH MOMENT For generations, artists have inspired us with their work, which reflects a willingness to expand boundaries and possibilities. The title of our season is Pure Emotion, and I can think of no better description. Many of next season’s works moved humanity’s artistic expression to new heights in their time: Beethoven’s epic Eroica Symphony, Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique, Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1, and Orff’s Carmina Burana. Coupled with leading and established soloists, timeless works and a new generation of composers, the 2014-2015 season pushes the limits of human expression and concert possibilities. Scott Terrell, Music Director and Conductor, LexPhil 2 | LEXPHIL 2014-2015 SEASON
