CREATING AMAZING NEW LEXUS DRIVING EXPERIENCE, ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY At Lexus, we don’t stop until we create amazing. Developing the all-new GS 450h involved a relentless search to make it better in every way. Work began with a bold new Lexus ‘face’, incorporating a distinctive spindle grille. Then we engineered a breakthrough Lexus Hybrid Drive – that will take you from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds – while using only 5.9 l/100 km of fuel on the combined cycle. The chassis and suspension were reengineered, with optional all-wheel steering for extra refinement. Built at the most award-winning plant on earth, the GS resets benchmarks for comfort, craftsmanship and advanced technology. Inside, it has the world’s widest multimedia screen, S-Flow air conditioning and class-leading driver support systems. Also available as an F SPORT model, the new GS is an incredibly enjoyable car to drive. ARRIVE WITH PRESENCE NEW L-FINESSE DESIGN, CLASS-LEADING AERODYNAMICS The GS 450h sedan has been created using a bold, new version of our L-finesse design language. Starting from scratch, our designers have given the GS a totally new look, the focal point being its dramatic, purposeful front ‘spindle grille’. Jewel-like headlights greatly enhance driver vision, while LED daytime running lights give it an unmistakable aura. In profile, the car’s muscular stance contrasts with its lean waistline and long streamlined cabin section, to give it unique presence and exceptional roominess for up to five occupants. Underlying the powerful form, extended wheel arches hint at superb, dynamic handling. Innovations that contribute to the car’s class-leading aerodynamics include smooth underbody covers and closable vents on the radiator grille, with fins on the rear lights increasing driving stability and reducing wind noise inside the cabin.

BREAKTHROUGH FULL HYBRID PERFORMANCE, EV MODE Benefitting from over a decade of Lexus leadership and innovation in Full Hybrid technology, the GS 450h delivers breathtaking performance, thanks to its powerful Lexus Hybrid Drive. Comprising a 3.5-litre V6 direct-injection Atkinson Cycle petrol engine and a high-output electric motor, this intelligent partnership develops 345 DIN hp. Acceleration is both smooth and incredibly rapid (100 km/h in 5.9 seconds) yet fuel consumption has been reduced by more than 20% to 5.9 l/100 km, and CO2 emissions have dropped to 137g/km. Select EV (Electric Vehicle) mode and the GS 450h drives in near silence, using no petrol and emitting zero CO2 or NOX. However, this new Lexus Full Hybrid is very practical too; the hybrid battery occupies minimum room, resulting in a generous 482 litres of boot space.

FULL HYBRID LEADERSHIP LEXUS HYBRID DRIVE, ZERO EMISSIONS CAPABILITY In 2004, we introduced Lexus Hybrid Drive to the world and, at present, we’re still the only luxury car manufacturer to offer a comprehensive range of hybrid vehicles. However, hybrid technology can vary from one car manufacturer to another. Generally, there are two types of hybrid vehicles: mild hybrids and Full Hybrids. In mild hybrids, the petrol or diesel engine is usually the major power source, while the electric motor merely assists the engine. In the more advanced Full Hybrids, like the GS 450h, the V6 combustion engine and powerful electric motor work alongside each other, seamlessly. All Lexus hybrids not only start off using electric power alone, but can also be driven almost silently in EV (Electric Vehicle) zero emissions mode. At Lexus, all our hybrid vehicles are Full Hybrids.

HOW DOES LEXUS HYBRID DRIVE WORK?
START UP, DRIVING OFF When starting off, the powerful electric motor can swiftly propel the GS 450h up to 64 km/h, with electric power supplied by the hybrid battery. At this point the vehicle is almost silent, uses no petrol and produces zero emissions.

NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS At speeds above 64 km/h the ultra-smooth 3.5-litre V6 direct-injection Atkinson Cycle petrol engine cuts in, almost silently, but still receives assistance from the electric motor when required. Through the near perfect distribution of its petrol and electric power sources, the GS 450h provides extraordinary driving excitement – together with low emissions and modest fuel consumption.
FULL THROTTLE ACCELERATION Accelerate powerfully and the 200 DIN hp electric motor instantaneously supplements the 3.5-litre 292 DIN hp V6 petrol engine. Together they deliver a potent surge of torque to provide breathtakingly fast linear acceleration precisely when you need it.
DECELERATION, STOPPING, BRAKING When decelerating or coming to a halt, the petrol engine turns off, cutting emissions to zero. Brake, or take your foot off the accelerator, and regenerative braking harnesses the kinetic energy lost in other cars. It converts this into electrical energy for storage in the hybrid battery, which is one reason why you never need to recharge a Lexus Full Hybrid.

DRIVE MODE SELECT
Drive Mode Select allows you to choose between ECO, NORMAL, SPORT S and SPORT S+ modes, for maximising either the car’s efficiency or dynamic abilities. In ECO mode, engine output and gear selection are adjusted to optimise fuel efficiency, while the air-conditioning and heated seats are all intelligently controlled to further reduce fuel consumption. Select EV (Electric Vehicle) mode and the GS 450h provides an almost silent drive, using no petrol and emitting zero CO2 or NOX. In EV, ECO and NORMAL modes the instruments take on a tranquil blue colour, and the ecometer helps you to drive more efficiently.
SPORT S / SPORT S+ MODE
If you’re in a dynamic mood, select SPORT S mode and the GS 450h immediately retunes the throttle for rapid acceleration. Available on models equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), SPORT S+ mode combines SPORT S mode’s enhanced powertrain output with coordinated control of AVS, Electric Power Steering and Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management for a precise and exhilarating drive. Switching to SPORT S and SPORT S+ modes illuminates the instruments in a vibrant red and the power indicator changes into a tachometer.

A NEW KIND OF LEXUS INTELLIGENT AIRFLOW, ADVANCED DRIVING DYNAMICS Developed in the world’s most advanced driving simulator, and then tested over 1.6 million kilometres around the globe, we’ve created a totally new kind of Lexus sedan. We started by increasing the torsional rigidity of the GS 450h bodyshell by 14%, and then perfected a new airflow management concept called ‘aerodynamic damping’, that involves moving airflow closer to the vehicle body to enhance handling. The flow is smoothed in and around the wheel arches, and air pressure is reduced within the arch itself. The effect not only improves steering response, creates a flatter ride and enhances road holding, it results in a drag coefficient of just Cd 0.26*. Together, these improvements have produced one of the most dynamic Lexus cars ever built. * For the Eco grade.

GS 450h F SPORT DYNAMIC ATTRACTION F SPORT STYLING, 19-INCH ALLOYS, LEXUS DYNAMIC HANDLING The new GS 450h F SPORT is unmistakably dynamic. Witness the aggressive F SPORT front-end styling – that integrates upper and lower honeycomb grilles – the 19-inch alloy wheels with 356 mm 2-piece front brakes, and the discrete rear spoiler. Inside, the cockpit features a 16-way driver’s sports seat; aluminium pedals, inlay panels and scuff plates; with the steering wheel and gearshift finished in perforated leather. Behind the beautifully crafted steering wheel, the sumptuous front seats – that took five years to perfect – offer up to 18-way electric adjustments for total comfort. It also features a lower hip point, placing you closer to the car’s centre of gravity, for a more engaging drive. Additionally, the driver’s butterfly headrest, shoulder, side/lumbar supports and seat cushion length are all multi-adjustable for personal preference. Meanwhile, your front seat passenger can enjoy the luxury of an electrically extending seat cushion for enhanced thigh and calf support. THE BIG PICTURE WORLD’S WIDEST MULTIMEDIA DISPLAY, REMOTE TOUCH The new GS 450h takes navigation display technology to the next level. It is equipped with the world’s largest multimedia display – a 12.3-inch, full colour, LED screen in an ultra-wide, 24:9 format. The screen’s size and absolute clarity allow you to display two types of information simultaneously, such as map/audio, Lexus Night View/map and navigation input or incoming call. Driver and front seat passenger can interact with the display using Voice Control or second-generation Remote Touch, that moves the pointer on the display screen just like a computer mouse. In the dark, Lexus Night View displays an infrared image of the road ahead on the screen or, at any time, a video image from the Parking Assist Monitor when reversing.

PURE INNOVATION 3-ZONE S-FLOW AIR CONDITIONING, NANOE速 TECHNOLOGY More powerful than the previous air conditioning system, yet substantially more energy efficient, intelligent S-Flow technology provides climate control only to those seats that are occupied. To reduce power consumption further, external air is used to demist the windscreen, while warmer internal air is re-circulated in the lower cabin to reduce heat losses. Switch to ECO mode and the intelligent use of seat heaters keeps you warm, yet reduces the overall power requirement. Another climatic breakthrough is nanoe速 technology that releases microscopic, negatively charged nanoe速 particles into the cabin. By attaching themselves to airborne particles, these nanoe速 ions help purify the cabin air and effectively deodorise seats and upholstery. In addition, because their moisture content is approximately 1,000 times that of conventional ions, they display a healthy moisturising effect on your skin and hair.

BREATHTAKING SOUND 17-SPEAKER MARK LEVINSON® PREMIUM AUDIO The new GS 450h can be ordered with either a 12-speaker audio system that represents the next generation of clarity in Lexus sound, or a peerless 17-speaker Mark Levinson® Premium Audio. Delivering 7.1-channel digital surround sound, this top-of-the-range system provides a true live concert experience for enjoying music and watching DVDs. The careful positioning of the speakers gives beautifully consistent sound for both front and rear seat occupants, resulting in a whole new level of definition, atmosphere and quality. The new Mark Levinson® digital amplifier generates 125 Watts per channel and a total of 835 Watts, while consuming just a quarter of the power of its predecessor. GreenEdge™ technology has also been incorporated into each of the 17 speakers, which develop twice the sound for the same energy consumption. For your convenience, the GS is specified with a USB port for connecting multimedia devices, an AUX socket and a 12 V power socket.

PROGRESS WITH CONFIDENCE ADVANCED PRE-CRASH SAFETY, LEXUS NIGHT VIEW First seen on the Lexus LS flagship sedan, our award-winning Advanced Pre-Crash Safety with Driver Monitoring and Lane Keeping Assist is now available on the GS 450h. Using sophisticated radar and camera technology, it will warn you if you are becoming tired, help you stay in lane and – importantly – activate Pre-Crash Brake Assist and Pre-Crash Seatbelt if it senses a collision is imminent. This radar technology also enables all-speed Adaptive Cruise Control. To help you concentrate on the road ahead, Head-Up Display projects driving data onto the windscreen, while Blind Spot Monitor uses radar installed in the rear bumper to warn you of unnoticed overtaking vehicles. In the dark, using infrared technology, Lexus Night View increases safety by displaying images of the road ahead on the 12.3-inch screen.

SUPERIOR PROTECTION RIGID SAFETY CELL, 10 AIRBAGS Equipped with next-generation Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management, Advanced Pre-Crash and brakes engineered to deliver best-in-class stopping performance, the new GS 450h is designed to avoid danger. However, in the event of a collision, it is comforting to know that you and your passengers are protected by an incredibly strong passenger safety cell. One where extensive use has been made of high-tensile steel to produce a light yet exceptionally stiff cage, with structural members positioned to ensure that crash forces are evenly absorbed before they ever reach the cabin space. Extending its safety aspects even further, the new GS 450h features Whiplash Injury Lessening front seats and a class-leading shield of ten airbags. These include driver and front passenger airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side airbags front and rear, and curtain airbags covering all side windows.

REDEFINING QUALITY HAND-SANDED PAINTWORK, ‘TAKUMI’ CRAFTSMANSHIP The GS 450h completely redefines build quality for this kind of performance sedan. You’ll sense it when you first touch the precision-machined aluminium audio controls or beautifully stitched leatherwork. Or stroke the car’s gleaming paintwork. This is wet-sanded by hand after each foundation coat (a time-consuming process normally reserved for coach-built cars) and checked by eye as well as digitally to ensure a perfect finish. Equally impressive, the GS 450h’s steering wheel is painstakingly laminated from indigenous bamboo, hinting at the car’s unique environmental credentials. Built at our award-winning Tahara plant, on the same line as the LS flagship sedan, the entire GS production is overseen by Lexus ‘Takumi’ personnel. These master craftspeople rigorously check that every car meets our standards for smoothness, before each is taken for a final 30 km test drive.

CREATED WITH A CONSCIENCE CLEANEST DRIVETRAIN IN CLASS, 85% RECYCLABILITY The new GS 450h has the cleanest and most efficient Full Hybrid drivetrain in its class, with breakthrough S-Flow air conditioning and GreenEdge™ audio technology reducing overall energy consumption even further. Additionally, everything about the car is designed to minimise environmental impact. Bio-sourced materials are available for the first time, as are options like an indigenous fast-growing bamboo trim, and a bamboo leather steering wheel on the GS 450h. At the end of its life, up to 85% of the car can be recycled, including the hybrid battery. Production at the award-winning Tahara plant is organised using our world-famous lean manufacturing techniques, with waste being kept to an absolute minimum, while every day the plant’s Aqua Control Centre purifies thousands of tons of water.

3.5-LITRE V6 PETROL ENGINE With innovative D-4S direct injection and dual VVT-i technology, this highly efficient ‘Atkinson Cycle’ engine is at the heart of the Full Hybrid GS 450h. Also featuring Start/Stop, it helps reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
POWER CONTROL UNIT The ‘brain’ of Lexus Hybrid Drive, the Power Control Unit (PCU) constantly optimises the allocation of power resources – electric, petrol or a combination of both. The PCU also manages the process of charging the hybrid battery, either by allocating engine power to drive the generator or through regenerative braking.
ADVANCED HYBRID BATTERY Energy-management of the 2-tier, 40-module nickel-metal hydride 288 V battery is controlled by sophisticated software. This ensures the battery is recharged as necessary during driving, so that external charging is never required. The compact design contributes to significantly increased boot capacity.
REGENERATIVE BRAKING When braking or decelerating, the vehicle’s wheels drive the high-output electric motor so that it functions as a generator. Kinetic energy – which would otherwise be lost as heat – is then captured and converted into electric power. This is stored in the hybrid battery for later use when driving in Electric Vehicle mode or accelerating swiftly.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) MODE With sufficient battery charge, EV mode lets you drive at lower speeds over shorter distances using just electric power. EV mode is whisper quiet, emissions-free and consumes no fuel. This is ideal, for instance, when driving in slow-moving traffic or enclosed car parks.

FRONT SUSPENSION Featuring forged aluminium components and a revised design, the double wishbone front suspension is now lighter and more responsive. Extensive adjustments to the suspension structure have substantially improved handling stability and ride comfort.
CHASSIS With greater torsional rigidity and redesigned suspension, the new GS 450h is dynamic and engaging to drive. It is a car that conveys a tangible sense of driver confidence, with a chassis that inspires and rewards driver input with crisp and precise handling.

REAR SUSPENSION Straight-line and cornering stability are significantly enhanced by geometry and layout revisions to the multilink rear suspension. A combination of high-tensile steel, die-cast and forged aluminium components reduce weight yet increase strength and precision.

ADAPTIVE VARIABLE SUSPENSION The damping force at all four wheels is intelligently controlled by the Adaptive Variable Suspension in response to road surface conditions and driver input. This not only improves ride comfort, but also increases handling stability – especially during higher-speed cornering.

LEXUS DYNAMIC HANDLING Exclusive to the GS 450h F SPORT, Lexus Dynamic Handling elevates driving performance to a new dimension. Together, Variable Gear Ratio Steering and Dynamic Rear Steering control all four wheels independently. At low to medium speeds, the front and rear wheels turn at slightly opposing angles. This significantly reduces the turning circle for improved manoeuvrability at slow speeds, while improving agility when driving along winding country roads. At higher speeds, all four wheels steer in the same direction to enhance rear grip and stability. This ensures exceptionally composed lane changing and confident cornering at high speed.
DRIVE MODE SELECT Vehicle performance can be fine-tuned using Drive Mode Select. ECO mode reduces emissions and conserves fuel during relaxed driving, while NORMAL is configured for everyday driving – striking an ideal balance between economy and ride comfort. SPORT S immediately increases powertrain responsiveness for faster acceleration. With Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) specified, SPORT S+ intelligently controls the powertrain and AVS for exceptionally engaging performance. In the GS 450h F SPORT, 5-step Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management also networks control of Lexus Dynamic Handling in SPORT S+ mode. The results are supreme levels of on-the-limit vehicle agility and control.

LANE KEEPING ASSIST This innovative technology helps prevent the driver from inadvertently drifting out of lane, by way of a warning and the automatic application of a brief corrective steering force.

PRE-CRASH SAFETY (PCS) Millimetre-wave radar and an on-board computer calculate collision risk ahead. If the risk is high, the driver is alerted by audible and visual warnings and brake pressure is increased. Where collision is unavoidable, the brakes can be applied automatically and the front seatbelts tightened. The same radar technology is used by Adaptive Cruise Control to maintain a pre-selected distance behind the car ahead. The Advanced PCS system also includes Driver Monitoring.

DRIVER MONITORING Utilising built-in Charge Coupled Device digital cameras with near-infrared LEDs, the Driver Monitoring System can detect if the driver’s eyes are shut or if they are averted from the road ahead. Warnings are then activated as appropriate.
TEN AIRBAGS In addition to an immensely strong passenger safety cell, occupant protection is provided by ten, sensor controlled airbags. All seatbelts, except for the centre rear seat, are also specified with pre-tensioners. The driver and front passenger are protected by 2-stage head airbags, as well as knee and side airbags. Outer rear seats are specified with side airbags as standard, while curtain shield airbags run the full length of both cabin sides. This exceptional level of safety protection is provided as standard in the new GS 450h. As a result, injury risk is significantly reduced.

NIGHT VIEW Combining a powerful infrared camera with near-infrared light projectors, the Night View system captures an illuminated nocturnal image of the area in front of the vehicle. Shown within the 12.3-inch display, this helps reveal objects ahead well before they could be spotted by the naked eye.

BLIND SPOT MONITOR Radar devices mounted in the rear bumper detect vehicles in adjacent lanes that are not visible in the door mirrors. If the driver is indicating to change lane and a vehicle enters the blind spot, a warning signal appears in the relevant door mirror(s).

18" ALLOY WHEELS Multi-spoke 18" wheels with 235/45 R18 tyres are available in a light, premium metallic finish as an option for the Luxury grade. With an intriguing spoke structure, these alloy wheels convey a highly dynamic impression.
AUTO-FOLDING The door mirrors can be folded in electrically to help negotiate narrow spaces and, when parked, there is less risk of damage. Electro chromatic technology also dims the mirrors to prevent the risk of being dazzled by following traffic.
SPINDLE GRILLE With its purposeful spindle grille, the new GS 450h has been created using a bold, new interpretation of our L-finesse design language. This distinctive design feature, combined with the deep-set headlights and L-shaped LED daytime running lights, is set to become a new signature for the Lexus brand.
BI-XENON HEADLIGHTS High Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-xenon headlights are specified with auto-levelling, high-pressure cleaners and Light Emitting Diode (LED) daytime running lights as standard. Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS) and Automatic High Beam (AHB) are also available.

BI-LED HEADLIGHTS The new GS 450h is the first Lexus to be available with bi-LED headlights. Energy-saving LED technology provides exceptional illumination and reliable, long-life performance. Bi-LED headlights with AFS and AHB are optional on the GS 450h.

SUNROOF The electric, tilt and slide, glass sunroof lets the desired amount of light and air into the cabin. One-touch control is quick and convenient, while a manual sun blind provides shade as desired.
LED REAR LIGHTS AND ACTIVE BRAKE LIGHTS The rear combination lights, licence plate lamp and, for the first time on a Lexus, the rear fog lights are illuminated by an array of LEDs. Intriguingly elegant, a sense of depth enhances their sculpted appearance. The Lexus identity is reflected by dual L-shaped light guides, while integral aero-stabilising fins enhance handling stability. When braking heavily, the brake lights – including the high-level centre LED stop lamp – pulse rapidly to provide an effective warning to following vehicles.

SEAT UPHOLSTERY Soft-to-the-touch Cellensia fabric is standard for the new GS 450h. Smooth, perforated leather is an upgrade option, while on the F SPORT it is standard with exclusive diamond-shaped perforations. Highest quality semi-aniline leather is available for the Luxury grade.

HEATING / VENTILATION In combination with leather upholstery, the driver and front passenger can individually heat or ventilate their seats as desired. This adds to the sense of bespoke luxury and is especially welcome in extreme weather conditions.
ELECTRIC SEAT ADJUSTMENT The standard front seats feature 10-way electric adjustment, which includes 2-way lumbar support. On the F SPORT, adjustments increase to 16 (including 4-way lumbar) for the driver’s seat. And, in the Luxury grade, both driver and front passenger enjoy 18 individual seat adjustments, inclusive of 4 lumbar support settings.

3-ZONE CLIMATE Featuring world first nanoe® technology, the GS 450h cabin is divided into three electronically controlled climate zones. Front seat occupants input their individual settings via Remote Touch or the front panel, while rear passengers control their zone using a dedicated panel.
REAR CONTROL PANEL The outer rear seats can also be individually heated via a convenient control panel. Located in the rear centre armrest and featuring an LCD display, this panel can also be used to set the rear climate zone, control the audio and operate the rear blind.
LEATHER STEERING WHEEL A new 3-spoke leather trimmed steering wheel has been ergonomically designed for the GS 450h. Measuring 380 mm in diameter, it is high-grip and tactile with buttons for audio, display, phone and voice command positioned close to the thumb tips.
n LEATHER / WOOD DESIGN On the Luxury grade, the steering wheel can optionally be specified in a leather/ wood design. There is a choice of three wood types and finishes: Ebony (gloss), Walnut (matt) or – a world first – Bamboo (matt). And a world first, Bamboo can be exclusively specified on the new GS 450h. All steering wheel designs can be heated.
MULTIPLE ADJUSTMENTS The GS 450h is specified with a steering column that can be electrically adjusted for tilt and reach. In combination with multiple electric seat adjustments, all drivers will be able to obtain their ideal driving position.
PADDLE SHIFT Although the new GS 450h can be driven in fully automatic mode, the steering wheel mounted paddle shift controls let the driver make swift, manual gear changes. First developed for Formula 1 cars, this technology enables a more engaging drive.

LUGGAGE SPACE Boot space in the new GS 450h has been increased significantly. It can now accommodate three sets of golf clubs and two small sports bags, or four medium sized suitcases.
LED INTERIOR LIGHTING Soft white instrument and cabin lighting gives the interior a gentle, relaxing atmosphere. Energy-efficient Light Emitting Diodes provide illumination as needed via the main dome lamp, map and reading lights, as well as permanently lighting the door panels at night.
CLASSIC TIMEPIECE Taking pride of place in the centre of the dashboard, this classic timepiece bears testament to Lexus craftsmanship. With white LED illumination, an aura of timeless appeal is created.
REAR SUNSHADES An electrically operated sunshade can be specified for the rear screen. Operating smoothly and quietly, it is unobtrusive when not in use. Manual sun blinds are available for the rear door windows, complete with a sideways extension to cover the quarter light.

12.3-inch MULTIMEDIA DISPLAY The new, high resolution, 12.3-inch multimedia display is the widest available in a series production vehicle. Driver and front passenger can interact with multiple display screens using Remote Touch, while voice commands also control a number of applications. The split-widescreen is optimised for simultaneously viewing two types of information, for example large map display and DAB radio station information.

REMOTE TOUCH Next generation Remote Touch, with single press confirmation, lets users interact intuitively with the central multimedia display. Ergonomically designed, it is close at hand and as easy to use as a computer mouse.

HDD NAVIGATION With crisp, clear graphics and an array of mapping options, Hard Disk Drive (HDD) navigation is intuitive to use, reacting swiftly to user input. European road maps are conveniently stored on the HDD and can be updated by Lexus Authorised Retailers.

DIGITAL CONNECTIVITY Multiple digital applications can be synchronised to the multimedia display. For example, a smart phone’s entire address book can be simply downloaded, and then scrolled through on the display. An iPod® or other multimedia devices can be viewed and operated via different display screens.
VOICE RECOGNITION When driving, voice commands are a convenient and safe hands-free way for the driver to control various on-board systems, such as HDD navigation or a Bluetooth® enabled mobile phone.
STANDARD CENTRE CONSOLE The new GS 450h is fitted with an 8-inch display screen operated by Remote Touch as standard. This enables control of systems such as audio and climate or viewing the energy monitor, while HDD navigation is an upgrade option. The centre console also contains the head unit for the 12-speaker audio system. It features a DAB tuner, Bluetooth® audio and CD/DVD player. The USB port and AUX socket are located in the console box and illuminated by white LEDs.
MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY Positioned between the two main dials, the 3.5-inch high-resolution colour multiinformation display provides a wide range of vehicle information and data. The driver can select the display settings via the steering wheel mounted control.
STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS Buttons to operate audio, phone, display and voice recognition are ergonomically integrated within the steering wheel. The optional Lane Keeping Assist switch and Adaptive Cruise Control radar button are also steering wheel mounted.

COMPASS A miniature compass is one of many secondary displays available with the navigation system. And with the 12.3-inch screen, there are a number of larger compass designs that provide exact latitude and longitude co-ordinates.
MARK LEVINSON® SOUND Specified with a fully digital 835 W amplifier and 17 speakers utilising GreenEdge® technology, the Mark Levinson® sound system delivers a high resolution, 360° stereoscopic, homeconcert experience.

DUO PLUS ISOFIX RESTRAINT SEAT Maximum safety for children between 9 months and 4 years (approximately 9 to 18 kg). The seat locks into the rear ISOFIX bars to anchor directly onto the car’s body and also has a top tether to prevent it from tipping forward. Deep padded wings enhance side impact protection.
TOWING HITCH The strength and stability of the GS are a perfect combination for fitting a towing hitch. Ideal for towing a single horse box, boat, caravan or small trailer. The Lexus accessory range offers a choice of fixed, detachable and retractable designs and also wiring kits in 7 and 13 pin versions.
LUGGAGE MAT The Lexus luggage compartment mat provides tough carpet protection against mud and dirt. Made of thick rubber with a non-slip surface and raised edges, it is ideal for use when stowing items such as walking boots, sportswear and children’s paraphernalia.
EASY CLICK BIKE HOLDER Lightweight lockable ‘Easy Click’ design for two bicycles. Easy to install and remove, it tilts for luggage compartment access and folds flat for storage. Supplied with a holder for integral lights and licence plate, it can be attached without the need for a towing hitch.

3-YEAR COMPREHENSIVE WARRANTY This covers any defect attributable to a manufacturing or assembly fault under normal use. It applies for three years or 100,000 km (62,000 miles), whichever comes first, with no mileage limitation in the first year.
LOOKING AFTER YOUR LEXUS
3-YEAR SURFACE RUST AND PAINTWORK WARRANTY This warranty covers your vehicle for surface rust and paint defects appearing on any of the painted body panels due to a fault in material or workmanship. There is no mileage restriction.
We want to ensure that you enjoy driving your Lexus anywhere in Europe with complete peace of mind. This is why we provide free Lexus Euro Assistance 24* for the first three years of ownership. This programme ensures your mobility, to take you where you need to go. Part of this could include, for example, towing, hotel accommodation, car hire, repatriation of the vehicle and many more services should your Lexus be immobilised, stolen, or involved in a collision.

12-YEAR CORROSION WARRANTY The warranty offers 12 years’ coverage, regardless of mileage, against perforation of bodywork (from inside to outside) that develops due to corrosion caused by faults in material or workmanship. These warranties are transferable to subsequent owners.
ENVIRONMENT To reduce waste, parts replaced during servicing are collected and recycled, while air conditioning refrigerants are also recovered and reused. We are researching more efficient dismantling technologies for the time when the working life of your Lexus is over, and are developing ways to use shredder residue previously considered unrecyclable. END-OF-LIFE VEHICLES The legislation on end-of-life vehicles offers Lexus drivers a new and innovative way of returning their old vehicles to the producer.
