It's final. Mayor Digong Duterte is not running for Presidency. His reasons are understandable and yet disappointing. Duterte said he never told anybody that he will run for President of the Republic of the Philippines. That, according to him, he just went around the country to just promote federalism, explaining to different sectors of society that the answers to today's problems in the country is nothing but federalism. He said he made strong stance against corruption in the country but not to make people like him. He repeatedly said that he was never interested to be a President of this country. But obviously, the clamor was there. A large number of supporters have been pushing Duterte to run for Presidency until the last minute of the filing of Certificate of Candidacies. But, the filing of candidacies has ended and they went home disappointed. According to Vice Presidential bet Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, Duterte was supposed to be the best choice. Duterte is the most qualified. Cayetano was speaking the truth. Now what happens to the presidential race? First, the Comelec is bound to declare only four or five legitimate Presidential candidates. All the others are nuisance, of course. It should have been five legitimate candidates if Duterte decided to run. The remaining four are -- Senators Grace Poe and Meriam Santiago, Vice President Jejomar Binay and former DILG Secretary Mar Roxas. After the Comelec declares the legitimate four, the game is over. Santiago can't be the winner. She has a history. She had already lost in 1992. She is sickly. She doesn't have enough charisma to win the race. And then, Senator Grace Poe. Now that she has decided to run against the Aquino administration's bet, she would likely be the target of circumstance. She should have listened to those people who encouraged her to run for Presidency. She will surely be disqualified. Not only because, she is against Aquino administration, but because it would be very difficult to explain to Filipino voters the reason why the people has to choose a "naturalized

WOW. Daghana man diay gusto mahimong Presidente sa Pilipinas.

Heavy downpour ORMOC CITY -- It was a strong rainy day in Ormoc. Almost a whole day of heavy downpour. The rain was the strongest amidst El Niño phenomenon. Weather company informed it was because of the tail end of a cold front. The heavy rain was accompanied
by a brownout without an advisory coming from either the electric coop or the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines. As usual, water coming down under has come up while there was heavy downpour which resulted to flooding in some streets in the city. RCD

Tsk..tsk..tsk.

Filipino" citizen candidate. Then, we have the Vice President running for Presidency. VP Binay has been the target of demolition and dirty works of the administration since he has declared that he will run for Presidency, years ago. Binay would surely be in jail before the election. The administration has to secure the passage of its Presidential Bet to the Malacanan Palace. If Binay would be in jail and then
Senator Grace Poe is qualified, Mar Roxas is left alone in the race. Therefore he will win by default. And then it would be a great success and gladness for the Aquino administration. Then, after May 2016 elections, kthere will be another six years of lies, manipulations, dirty works in the government and another period of corruption. Criminals would still be free to do their stuff without any hesitation because their leaders would be again in power.
