A DAY OF INSPIRATION AND CONNECTION: THE GODS OF HAIR EVENT

Sunday, October 13th marked an exciting chapter in the world of hairdressing as Leyton House and East Kent Hairdressing Supplies proudly sponsored the highly anticipated GODS OF HAIR event, organised by the talented Tammy Page at the beautiful Chapel House Estate in Kent.

This immersive look-and-learn event welcomed hairdressers and salon professionals eager to witness live demonstrations, acquire innovative skills from industry experts, and network with their peers in a vibrant, collaborative environment.

A standout moment of the day came from Leyton House educator Paula Halsey, who delivered an engaging segment on Liquid Jewlz.

Attendees were kept captivated as dynamic duo Kate Lewis and Zanè Zvinkle from Unit G Salon showcased their expert techniques in airtouch highlights with Liam Harley creating stunning faceframe techniques using our exceptional Blonding Creams. Finally the super talented Tara Pilcher using Style Culture styling products to create amazing texture on her wolf cut model.

Hair Supplies East Kent

The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as participants traveled from as far as Dover, Essex, and Bedfordshire, drawn in by our impactful social media outreach that resonated widely beyond the borders of Kent.

Paula said ‘Throughout the day, Lyndon and Debbie at East Kent took the opportunity to share insights into the history of Liquid Jewlz and our unique selling propositions, we were able to engage with attendees, answer their questions, and cultivate meaningful connections.

This face-to-face interaction allowed us to gather valuable data and generate leads that will contribute to our ongoing success. It was fantastic to see attendees networking and connecting with each other. Events like this not only help raise funds for those in need but also strengthen our

community ties while fostering a spirit of collaboration and fun. Tammy has done such an amazing job!.

Tammy had an overwhelming response to the raffle! With nearly £300 raised, all proceeds were generously donated to children with cancer, ensuring that efforts made a positive impact on lives. Paula said ‘It was particularly heartwarming to see a representative from the children’s charity at the event, witnessing firsthand how our community came together to support such a crucial cause’. The raffle featured ten fabulous prizes, and to our delight, with tickets sold out! Winners overwhelmingly chose the

two beautiful LH bags first, regardless of the competition from highly coveted electrical tools. It just goes to show how much our fantastic community values quality prizes, and of course, the allure of unique, stylish accessories!

Overall, the day exceeded expectations, and we left with not just new leads and connections but also a sense of accomplishment and community spirit. I am eager to see where these new relationships lead us and how we can continue making a difference.

After the event Tammy said ‘Well what a day I can not begin thank everyone enough for your support, energy, good vibes. I’m feeling very emotional tonight as I can’t quite believe how lucky I am to have such a wonderful community around us.

Thank you everyone who came and slayed. Onto planning the next one. love you guys thank you xxx’.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this event and a SPECIAL shout out to Tammy, Lyndon & Debbie, Paula, Zane, Liam, Tara & Kate!

November 4th hairdressers had the pleasure of participating in an enlightening foundation, introduction training session hosted by Leyton House Poland, set against the backdrop of one of Polands favourite showrooms in the vibrant city of Wrocław!

The experience proved to be both enjoyable and enriching, leaving a lasting impression. The training brought together a dynamic and motivated group of individuals, each radiating positivity and passion.

This fantastic team created an uplifting atmosphere that was instrumental in driving collective efforts. The energy was contagious,

Thanks to Kamila Barańska for sharing her beautiful salon. She said ‘Fantastic team of motivated people to work with, full of positive energy and passion, we created an amazing

atmosphere that resulted in great work! Each of us has a lot of commitment and inspiration, and the end results speak for themselves.

Our collaborative spirit and enthusiasm, drives us to tackle challenges head-on and innovate with creativity. Together, we are not just a team - we are a thriving community, dedicated to excellence and driven by a shared vision for success!

Here’s to the victories that lie ahead!

Watching a YouTube video or scrolling through reels just won’t do the trick for up-skilling. Committing to ongoing education in your career keeps your passion alive. Passionate hairdressers are more engaged, creative, and energised to drive business growth.

The same goes for your team: offering them similar opportunities can keep everyone motivated and thriving.

Among other avenues available for upskilling and learning, industry conferences and trade shows stand out as excellent opportunities for hairstylists to explore the latest classes and certification courses.

However, while large-scale events like trade have their benefits, smaller, more intimate courses can be even more advantageous.

Theres nothing quite like attending a course in a smaller group setting, where hairdressers receive more personalised attention, allowing for closer interactions with the lead educator. This often leads to a better understanding of the material being taught.
