A good wine isn’t only made to just be sipped, it should be experienced. Enjoy a glass and experience the west. Black Oak wine is created and distributed by Chateau Diana located in Sonoma, Ca. The design of Black Oak was inspired from classical western posters to bring the heritage of the old west into the design of the labels. The Black Oak series consists of the packaging and label design for the high end cabernet sauvignon and label design for the low end chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon.

Who needs to wear ordinary clothes when you could wear plastic? Uwear is made from 100% recycled plastic bags. Uline is a magazine designed to educate the reader about the harmful effects that plastic bags have on the environment, possible solutions and a clothing line made from 100% recycled bags called Uwear. Uline was inspired by high end fashion magazines and urban typography. The Uline series is complete with a magazine, poster series and the redesign series of plastic clothing.

The R3 redesign poster series walks you through the process of how an object can be used, giving it a second life. In these posters the step by step process of creating a plastic garment is shown. The poster also illustrates how many bags it could take to create one garment.

It’s important to always keep your skin hydrated. Firefly’s organic formula not only will moisturize your skin, it will make you glow. Firefly is a skin care line created by the retail brand Free People. The logo of Firefly was inspired by the vintage design of Free People. The logo was originally hand drawn to mimic a vintage texture and design. The Firefly series is complete with a logo design, applications and a business system.

Most people usually tend to relate gossip with something negative and cruel. As we all know there are always two sides to every story. Did you hear about... is an experimental typographic approach to the study and evolution of gossip. Did you hear about... takes the reader through the four levels of gossip starting from social binding to the harmful effects it can have on a person. Inspiration for the book was taken from tabloids, gossip websites and other forms of social networking. Elements from the inspiration are used throughout the book. The Did you hear about... series is complete with a brochure, poster and type specimen CD.

Light is an important part of our daily life. So why turn on any boring lamp? Turn on Prime by John Varvatos. Prime is a limited edition lamp distributed by the retail designer John Varvatos. It is designed to embody the feel of the John Varvatos stores. Prime was inspired by Japanese architecture, mixed with the trendy and rustic design of John Varvatos. The Prime series is complete with a lamp prototype and packaging.

STA Travel is an agency dedicated to bringing affordable travel to young professionals, students, teachers and youth. The logo was inspired from constellations which were once used as a form of navigation. The dots in the logo are designed to gradually get smaller and lighter giving the illusion of movement. The STA Travel series is complete with a logo design, business system and applications.

Gardening doesn’t have to be a big chore. All of the Trim gardening tools are sleek, trendy, fun and made from recycled aluminum. Trim strives to bring the fun back into gardening with their line of brightly colored aluminum gardening tools. The Trim logo was designed by replacing the letter “I� with an overgrown blade of grass. The color palette is representative of colors found in nature, accented with gray to represent the metal of the gardening tools. The Trim series is complete with logo design, business system and applications.

Most airlines will only take you from one place to the next. Quest will take you to your next adventure. Quest Air is a non domestic airline that is designed to fit the adventurous traveler. The Quest airplane is equipped with extra legroom and a lounge area for longer flights. The logo was inspired by a compass which was then simplified. The Quest Air series is complete with a logo design, branding system and a series of applications.

Look a little deeper at a blank page. It doesn’t just have to be plain white paper. It is a canvas full of possibilities. Visible Spectrum is a book designed to highlight the paper Blanc by Gmund papers. Visible Spectrum was inspired by Newton’s theory of color. The idea was to show that white paper doesn’t have to be looked at as empty paper, but as something with endless possibilities. The first half of Visible Spectrum is designed in black and white and the second half in color.

There are two categories that fall under the SOHO Cosmetic Brushes, The professional line and the Silk line. The goal behind the designs was to bring the look and feel of high end professional makeup artist brushes to drug stores. The professional line is complete with sixteen brushes and the silk like is complete with nine brushes and accessories.
