Benefits What is it? The mark is a symbol that shows an understanding of LGBT needs and gives assurance to staff, customers and service users that the organization or business is driven by social and equality objectives. It is inexpensive and offers ongoing support and advice around these potentially difficult issues. It is flexible and adaptable to any organization or business. Meeting the Criteria Your application for the Rainbow Mark is greatly appreciated and your interest goes some way to achieving the award. Organizations are not all the same and the criteria reflect this. Detailed guidance will be provided on how to evidence each of the six criteria. This is not prescriptive however, as many organizations are implementing original initiatives. The size of your organization will influence how much you need to evidence. We are available for further clarification throughout the process.
