Mission The purpose of the Safe Space programme is to educate and make schools a safer and freer environment for all members of our community regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

The safe space programme has been designed to support students, teachers, governors and other professionals working in education understand sexual orientation and gender identity issues

Supporting students, teachers and governors with sexual orientation and gender identity issues in schools


Why do we need this? Human Rights are the basic rights and freedoms that belong to every person in the world. Everyone has a right to education, without discrimination. Bullying is still an endemic problem in schools across the UK. Anti-LGBT bullying is one of the most pervasive forms of bullying and often the weapon
