Insert the new flag until it locks in place. To display a flag, insert your finger into the circular cutout and slide the flag out towards the edge of the sign until it locks into position. To retract a flag, hold the red trigger down while sliding the flag in towards the center of the sign. The complete set of four placards is stored in the pocket of the Patient Care Sign. To use, locate the appropriate message and move it to the front so it is visible in the window. When no patient isolation is required, use the white placard.
