November 1978, Taipei, Taiwan Resident in Denmark since June 2003 Married, no children Li-Ying Wu lives in Copenhagen and studied composition at The Royal Danish Academy of Music with Bent Sørensen, Niels Rosing- Schow, Ejnar Kanding and Hans Peter Stubbe Teglbærg. Li-Ying Wu’s compositional work consists of projects for instruments, tape music, live electronics, theatre and animation, which focuses on colours and transformations of sound as the main musical language. The compositional output of her music aims to integrate a Scandinavian music tradition with an Asian background.
