Livingly Media Livingly Media is an online publisher reaching an audience of more than 30 million across fashion, beauty, celebrity and entertainment. Livingly owns and operates three lifestyle sites: Zimbio.com, comScore's #5 entertainment news site, StyleBistro.com, comScore's #7 Fashion/Beauty site, and Lonny Magazine, which livingly acquired in July 2012. Brands are connected with a deeply engaged and influential audience through high impact media placements and innovative content integrations. Livingly was founded in late 2006 with the goal of bringing high quality, deeply engaging content experiences to the largest possible audience. Professionally produced content, photos and videos, combined with an at-scale publishing system have driven strong growth and exceptionally high user engagement. The company was founded as Zimbio, Inc. and changed its name to Livingly Media in August 2012. Livingly has offices in San Carlos, Calif. and New York City and is venture-backed by Menlo Ventures, Draper Associates, and Great Oaks Venture Capital. As livingly is a web based publisher they get to cut costs by not having to pay for printing and distribution this could be interpreted as a method of being able to pay for exclusive information and also a good method of being able to clearly see how many people purchase the product due to the inability to window-shop or borrow the magazines they publish leaving less of a margin for their product to be given out for free. Surprisingly livingly don’t publish their own magazine solely based on music and instead goes for Zimbio a magazine which is basically just entertainment as a whole, as a result the house would only benefit my brand through its high audience count and industry contacts (another perceived advantage would be that it would be the only music magazine under their belt but that’s not a big pull coax an audience into purchasing the magazine).
