Assignment Outline Most people are familiar with vox pops – the voice of the people. The ability to record and edit vox pops is deemed an essential requirement for radio students on work experience (and for professionals in the field), as one can be asked to 'go out onto the streets' to get the public’s opinion on any subject at anytime. Developing the confidence to produce work of industry standard, to a set deadline, is facilitated in this assignment. Working in groups of three, location recordings, must be made using appropriate available technology. The team will log recordings; transfer audio to Adobe Audition and edit the chosen answers in an appropriate manner. Note- A mini disc with the original recordings and a CD with the edited vox pop must be submitted per team of three. You have been commissioned to record and edit this vox pop for a 1’ 30” broadcast (minimum one minute)
