ITC IN THE PARK CONNECTING GREAT MINDS THAT THINK ALIKE ITC in the Park is an event that takes place on the 5th of December 2013 in Cluj-Napoca and brings together the local IT community. ITC in the Park is the first thematic event hosted, organized and designed by Liberty Technology Park Cluj as part of our efforts to build and sustain a creative dialogue amongst IT professionals. ITC in the Park reunites professionals in the IT&C and R&D industries offering the perfect opportunity to network and find out all the novelties of the industry. ITC in the Park 2013 focuses on the market traits that the IT industry influenced. SPEAKERS Radu Georgescu Radu Georgescu is one of the most successful technology entrepreneurs in Eastern Europe. He founded his first company in 1992 and then went on to lead the creation of RAV Antivirus, a security technology that was acquired by Microsoft in 2003 and today forms the backbone of the company's internet security systems. His second business, GECAD ePayment, is Romania's leading ecommerce service provider. Radu Georgescu also plays an active role in promoting technology ventures in Romania and was the President of the Romanian Software Association.
Diwaker Singh Diwaker Singh is an entrepreneur, investor and executive with over 35 years of international business experience. His career includes seven start-ups and six successful exits across Asia, Europe and North America. His ventures include the first mobile telephony network and cargo airline in India, the first 3G telephony company in Europe and the first luxury eco-resort in Eastern Europe.
Todi Pruteanu Todi Pruteanu has been the Business Strategy Manager at Microsoft Romania since 2011. His presentation at ITC in the Park 2013 will include the Microsoft City Next program, a global initiative of Microsoft Romania that helps the public sector reimagine the future of cities and their communities.
