PARENT INFORMATION

All parents or guardians must be present during class time. If a child needs to exit the ice at any point, the instructor is not responsible for the child while he or she is off the ice.

SESSION PACKAGES

WEDNESDAY LEARN TO SKATE SESSION

10:30 A.M.-12:15 P.M.

Includes eight lessons and skate rentals. Each lesson consists of a 30-minute group lesson and 30 minutes of free/practice time.

Fall - Session 1 — Sept. 13, 20, and 27; Oct. 4, 11, 18, and 25; Nov. 1

Spring - Session 2 — Jan. 17, 24, and 31; Feb. 7, 14, 21, and 28; March 6

SUNDAY LEARN TO SKATE SESSION

4-5:15 P.M.

Includes eight lessons and skate rentals. Each lesson consists of a 30-minute group lesson and 15 minutes of free/practice time.

Fall - Session 1 — Sept. 17 and 24; Oct. 1, 8, 22, and 29; Nov. 5 and 12

Spring - Session 2 — Jan. 28; Feb. 4, 11, 18, and 25; March 3, 10, and 17

The Learn to Skate program is designed to serve the needs of recreational skaters. The curriculum keeps participants enthusiastic about learning from the time they begin lessons until they reach their goals. Whether a skater wants to reach a specific level or simply enjoys skating for fun, this program is the place to start!

HELPFUL INFORMATION

On the first day of class, please arrive at least 30 minutes early to receive your class assignment, get fitted for skates, and meet your coach.

BE SURE TO DRESS WARMLY IN COMFORTABLE, FLEXIBLE CLOTHES, SUCH AS:

• LONG PANTS

• JACKET OR SWEATSHIRT

• LONG SOCKS

• GLOVES OR MITTENS

Make sure your skates fit securely and are laced all the way up. Helmets and pads are recommended, but are not provided by the LaHaye Ice Center.

Refunds will not be granted. Credit toward a future session may be given at the discretion of the program director.
