A True Community Event Benefiting the Lawrence Schools Foundation The Lawrence Schools Foundation and Lied Center of Kansas are proud to announce the very first districtwide talent show for middle and high school students. Ovation! will benefit the Lawrence Schools Foundation and showcase the amazing talents of USD 497 students. Held on the main stage of the Lied Center with full production, the community will come together to celebrate all of the immense talent among Lawrence youth. Enjoy an evening of diverse talent, ranging from instrumentalists to singer/songwriters and aerial artists!

However, fans of Broadway know the “popular” Hollywood Walk of Fame performer as smash-hit Wicked’s original Glinda the Good Witch. She brings her unique and powerful voice to Lawrence for a one-night-only performance of some of the most unforgettable songs from Broadway and best-loved canons of the Great American Songbook.

All of the dogs have been rescued from pounds and shelters from across the country. The mission is to promote animal rescue, pet adoption, spaying and neutering, and encourage people to spend more time with their pets.
