THIFTING COATS Dee - Shop my haul Charity shops have an abundance of coats, especially in September where winter coats are being brought to the shop floor in higher volumes.
I see so many in excellent condition that could of only been worn a few times. A brand I see often is Marks and Spencer which is always such fantastic quality as well as managing to stay classically on trend whilst staying loyal to their branding. A style I see often are trench/macs which are such a timeless style that never dates. I am currently saving for a second hand Burberry Mac I can keep forever.
A new coat from the high street is rarely less than £50 yet in charity shops the average price I would say is £10. Although not wanting to encourage over consumption this means in theory you could buy a heavy warm winter coat, a lightweight raincoat, a denim jacket and a classic trench coat for less than one new one would cost. To have a coat dry cleaned the average price is £15 so even with that bill on top of it it was a coat you couldn’t wash yourself It still works out so much more economical to buy secondhand. If going to the shops isn’t something you want to do Vinted and Ebay have hundreds on their sites delivered to your door as well as many charity shops also being online.

I have just completed my first month and had two sessions so far. The first week was focused on understanding what Intuiation is and then I was set some tasks. All very challenging in their unique own way, What I realised was huge, and by looking at what I was most greatful for, it became very very clear what my heart was most connected to - Family! And as I look back on always being focused on career and work, the patterns started to emerge - it was often a distraction as it was the one thing I felt I could control. Even starting Life Styling (which when I really look back was created For family - more time with my daughter and more time for my mum. But through the difficult times with my mums terminal Cancer - I threw Everything into succeeding. But the problem with that is the pressure you place on yourself. That pressure I felt my whole life to succeed - and I was the only one setting the goal posts. And you can often loose the fun and passion when you place the pressure. I am now in week 2 tasks - focused on body love and how we talk to ourselves. I am yet to do this, but will share all in next months issue. I am to stand in front of a mirror naked for half an hour and scan my Body
