he Vukanović family’s relationship with Luštica Bay began in 2018 after the birth of their first child, their daughter Ana Vila. Tijana, pregnant with her son Vukan, embarked on a search for a place out of Belgrade, their home, where her growing family could create cherished summer memories reminiscent of her own childhood. She longed for the beautiful moments spent on the beach, family meals under the sun, and shared joy that she now holds dear and hopes to pass down to her children.

Despite Greece being the popular choice among those Tijana spoke to, she instinctively knew it wasn't the right fit for her. Through extensive exploration, a fortunate Google search led her to discover Luštica Bay. Upon seeing it, she had an immediate connection. In her own words, she recalls, "I didn't hesitate, I simply booked it!" She explains that when they arrived, the Chedi Hotel was yet to open, and the town was mostly under construction. However, upon reaching the Marina, she was certain that she had found the perfect place for her and her family. As for those who insisted Greece was the ideal destination, their opinions were challenged.

DIVING HEAD-FIRST INTO LIFE AT LUŠTICA

We asked Tijana to share a glimpse into their activities during their stays at Luštica Bay and what keeps them coming back. According to her, it's the pure joy her children experience that drives their return. They love nothing more than heading down to Marina Beach as a family, watching their kids play with other children while they enjoy a relaxing coffee. Tijana also emphasized the remarkable diversity within the community. The opportunity for her family to encounter various lifestyles and meet extraordinary people from around the world, sharing in their stories, is something she values greatly. And, of course, there's the delight of dining together at their favorite restaurant, Bistro 21, indulging in their beloved homemade burrata. These cherished and wholesome moments as a family are the ones they will fondly reminisce about in the years to come.

Tijana and her husband Ivan also talked about their love of the eclectic nightlife. The concerts, the exhibitions, the effort that goes into creating experiences for all of the bay’s guests and residents. In their own words “We really can’t wait to see what events you guys prepare for us next!”
