Mid-Bay Shores is located next to the white, sandy shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay and offers easy access to shopping, dining, and family entertainment in Destin, Florida. The recreation area offers RV sites, bungalows and mobile homes for overnight stays, boat storage, boat launch, laundry facilities, playground, showers, beach, swimming area, and WiFi throughout the park.

Located on Lake Martin Reservoir, the Maxwell-Gunter Recreation Area is a premier location for boating, fishing, hiking and camping. The facility includes cabins, bungalows and mobile homes, boat rental and storage, a marina, fishing pier, laundry area, playground, bathhouse, and a beach swimming area.
