Section Five gives an extensive overview of the six chaplaincy categories: Healthcare, Military, Correctional, Corporate/Workplace, Public Safety, and Community/Lifestyle. By no means do we cover every conceivable type of chaplaincy. However, we offer examples to expose readers to the wide variety of chaplain ministries. The Appendix offers an assessment tool for the individual and a trusted mentor to complete. And last, the Resources section highlights many professional national organizations that support chaplains and their ministries. This section also lists the endorsing organizations and agents identified by the Armed Forces Chaplains Board. Our Bibliography gives an extensive categorized listing of chaplain-related resources.
