be nice. is an upstream mental health and suicide prevention program with an action plan that encourages individuals to challenge themselves and others to seek appropriate professional help when they notice changes in their mental health. This action plan empowers individuals with the knowledge and confidence to take action when it comes to mental health, illness, and suicide prevention! Since the program was established in schools in 2010, it has expanded into businesses, faith institutions, athletic teams, and community groups. What makes this program unique, is its ability to adapt to every setting using a train-the trainer method, which empowers a point-person within that setting to implement the be nice. action plan the best way they see fit. Together, we are improving and saving lives!
