Assignment No. 2 – Development Finance Impact Project Digital Artefact
The Digital Artefact, titled “Comoros – Irrigation for Food Security”, has been conceptualised as an opening presentation to a gathering of private sector leaders in that country. It provides information regarding the role of different actors in development financing; land use, agriculture and food security in the Comoros; and the country’s conflict-affected political background. It also gives a brief account of the efficacy of irrigation in general and in the Comoros in particular. Most significantly, it introduces the audience to the International Development Association Private Sector Window and invites input regarding ways in which they are willing to support the development of an irrigation project using this facility.
